REPORT: ALEX PEREZ FACES TAGIR ULANBEKOV ON JUNE 15 UFC CARD

A flyweight division attraction has been added to the June 15 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Alex Perez faces Tagir Ulanbekov.

Perez (24-8-0) enters the contest on a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Deiveson Figueiredo, Alexandre Pantoja and Muhammad Mokaev. Perez hasn’t won a fight in almost four years, with his last win coming against Jussier Formiga at UFC 250. Perez has previously challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing to then champion Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 255.

Ulanbekov (15-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Nathan Maness and Cody Durden. Ulanbekov has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came to past/current UFC fighters. Ulanbekov has picked up 15 wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 15 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
