Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX
Episode 105
March 3, 2008
My weekend sojourn to Brookings, SD for Steal Domain Wrestling with AJ Styles
vs. Christian Cage as a main event was a bust. I drove 130 miles east of home
before my credit card was rejected while being $4000 under my credit limit.
After placing a phone call, I find out that my payment had been sitting on
someone’s desk for 3 weeks. Worse, I couldn’t charge my card for 48 hours. I
had $27, but didn’t want to chance running out of gas. So I ended up turning
back. I’m really disappointed because it was a banging show and the promoter
made me a personal guest. Unfortunately, I won’t have another opportunity to
attend another wrestling show for several months. As the old adage goes, “nuts
happens, but life goes on.†Enough rambling an on to the 2nd Anniversary show
of NWA Anarchy.
WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face
off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of
authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!
- Welcome to the 2nd Anniversary edition of NWA Anarchy! The first 104 episodes
aka 2 years have provided great action and now we’re ready to for two more
years of even hotter angles and hotter wrestling.
- NWA Anarchy is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! Season’s Beatings 2007 has
concluded. Fans saw incredible violence, an amazing steal cage match and an
awesome three way between 3 behemoth beasts. What more can you ask for?
1. Jeremy Vain & Mr. Rob Adonis defeated Jerry Palmer & Sal Rinauro.
Early in the contest, Shadow Jackson suffered a severe injury after accidentally
stepping on Palmer’s axe-handle. The finish came when Vain destroyed
Palmer’s back with his own axe-handle.
COMMENTS: It was unfortunate Shadow suffered a severe injury because everyone
was looking forward to this contest. The match was clunky, but Rinauro handled
himself like a seasoned pro. Palmer received a mega-wicked axe-handle shot to
close the contest. Overall, a major disaster was averted.
- Jeff G Bailey with Kory Chavis and NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil
Shatter cuts an incredible promo outside the NWA Arena. d**n, I miss Bailey’s
weekly diatribes.
2. Jeff Lewis sent Kory Chavis straight to DVD in a
Chavis was able to score a pinfall midway through the match with the
Spinesplitta, but Lewis managed to pull himself up before the referee could
complete administering the 10 count. After exchanging near falls with the Dark
City Street Cutter and the Final curtain, Lewis won after a belly to belly
superplex through a table.
COMMENTS: The majority of the match was lackluster and the chemistry was off.
The finishing sequence was infinitely better than the body. The finish was
memorable enough to put a nice exclamation point on the feud. However, kicking
out of each other’s finishing move made little sense in what basically was a
3. Shadow
COMMENTS: This match was everything it needed to be: a tasty appetizer preparing
everyone for the main course.
- What would a major NWA Anarchy event be without an insane sermon from “the
Reverend†Dan Wilson with the Staff of Righteousness and the Devil’s
Rejects?
4. The Devil’s Rejects (Azreal & Shaun Tempers) w/Dan Wilson & the
Staff of Righteousness defeated the Awesome Attraction (Austin Creed &
Hayden Young) to capture the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles.
COMMENTS: The Awesome Attraction losing the tag titles so cleanly was shocking.
They had a great run and it’s good to see the Rejects capture gold. In fact,
the crowd popped for the Rejects winning the tag titles. Good luck to Creed in
TNA.
5. Phil Shatter defeated Mikal Judas and Iceberg w/Dan
The finish came after NWA Anarchy failing to pay its electric bill and Dominous
chokeslamming Judas.
COMMENTS: These three gigantic behemoths pulled off amazing move after amazing
move, and sick move after sick move. It’s rare to see such good action from
three super heavyweights. Unfortunately, the match was marred by a bad copout
finish.
6. Slim J uncled Patrick Bentley w/Dan
COMMENTS: These two men followed up an incredible match between three monsters
with perhaps the best match in NWA Anarchy for 2007. Patrick Bentley propelled
his career with an incredible performance that proved he could headline future
shows with more seasoning. The crowd was electric and made the match even
better.
- Dan Wilson stoops to Patrick Bentley’s level, “I have never been this
disappointed in my life.â€
- Don Matthews with Brody Ray Chase professed his love for Melissa Coates.
“I’m smitten like a kitten†and enjoying her “foreplay.†This came off
much better on television than live.
7. Todd Sexton squashed Wes Grissom.
COMMENTS: This is exactly the Todd Sexton that people want to see, a crooked ass
heel cheating his way to victory.
8. Truitt Fields pinned Todd Sexton to retain the NWA Anarchy TV Title.
Did you know Jerry Palmer’s mystery partner is former WCW wrestler Firebreaker
Chip? The finish was fun: Referee Brent Wiley ended up on the wrong end of a
Sexton lariat, which allowed for Grissom to gain a measure of revenge by
counting Sexton’s shoulders to the mat after the Killing Fields.
COMMENTS: This was a solid opener with a fun finish.
OVERALL: The first half of Season’s Beating was subpar compared to it’s
counterpart in 2006 (minus the gauntlet tag debacle.) except the opening segment
and closing brawl between Nemesis and Shadow. The second half was much better
and closed out with two tremendous matches. The show is definitely a thumbs up
despite having too many undercard filler matches like Blondes/New Wave. In my
humble opinion, Season’s Beatings 2006 was better, but the 2007 version closed
out with two crazy matches. I definitely recommend purchasing the DVD whether
you attended the show or not.
DON’T FORGET: Don’t forget to check out www.nwaworldwidewrestling.net
for the Sean Denny battle his brother Mark Denny in a match that had Death
Valley Driver marking out.

GCW Announces Return to TV
Below is the text of a press release from Great
Championship Wrestling regarding their television program:
Ladies and gentleman, professional wrestling will never be the same again.
Effective Saturday, March 8th, 2008, Great Championship Wrestling will be on the
air again after a month hiatus, for a weekly dose of action packed energy filled
shock therapy guaranteed to rock your televisions to the point of destruction.
And this time, at the helm of production, will be Great Championship
Wrestling’s new director of media content, Taylor McKnight, guaranteeing a
fresher, more exciting look for the already popular promotion.
"I honestly couldn't wait to get started at GCW" McKnight commented
when asked about his hiring. "They have a fantastic live show that is
full of energy and excitement. It is time that someone finally translated that
to television the right way. And it is a nice bonus to be somewhere that has a
budget to match my ideas"
GCW’s newest acquisition is no stranger to television production. Having
worked 10 years in the very professional he grew up idolizing, McKnight began
his career working full time for the famous fighting Armstrong Family in
Pensacola Florida. Since then, he has worked closely with many top stars of the
sport, including Jerry Lawler, Jimmy Hart, and Hulk Hogan.
"They gave me a great opportunity to show what I could do, and help me see
how I can do it better. Jimmy Hart was especially helpful and always willing to
listen. A lot of the things I bring to GCW, I learned from "the mouth of
the south"" McKnight commented.
The Georgia-based media director is also making a name for himself in
Still, as McKnight becomes regarded as the producer to be watching, his focus
remains loyal to the southeastern based company that he says is about to change
the way we see wrestling.
"Great Championship Wrestling is full of opportunity. We have the brightest
stars, the strongest personalities, the best ideas and the most dedication I've
seen first hand in a long time" McKnight remarked about the
McKnight’s producing debut for the company begins this Saturday, with the
re-launch of their famed television program 'GCW ACTION". This broadcast
production, spear headed by McKnight, will be the first GCW production ever to
be produced in house. Finally with nothing lost in the translation of
generic production companies, we are sure to see some changes and exciting new
concepts from the promotions television presentation.
"You’re going to see a much more well-rounded program this time"
McKnight stated. "From better audio to faster camera cuts, to the small
things like screen graphic updates and proper transitions, this will be the show
everyone points to and says "THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT" McKnight assured.
As a bonus, the broadcast will also be available for the first time on the
internet (made available to Georgiawrestlinghistory.com), so that not only
the local fans, but also people around the world can see GCW for what it is: the
promotion ready to break out into the main stream.
"My goal," McKnight concluded "isn't to have the best production

Make sure to check out Great Championship Wrestling’s media re-launch this

Michaels and Taylor McKnight, and featuring the biggest and best stars in the

Match #1
Referee Jeff McGowan
David Young defeats Shaun Banks w/Zero Tolerance after
hitting a spinebuster.
Funny thing happened during this match. Banks shoved
McGowan twice after getting slammed by Young. Later
Banks shoved Young, and as Banks turned around,
McGowan slammed him with a bodyslam.
Up next we saw footage of Quentin Michaels entering
the building earlier that day. Michaels tries to talk
to people but everyone gave him the cold shoulder.
Johnny Swinger told him that he went too far and
needed to apologize.
Match #2
Referee Scrappy McGowan
MC Bogie defeats Michael Cook with a crucifix pin.
Yep “That 80’s Guy†came out to MC Hammer’s “You can’t
touch this†and had Kid’s, from the 80’s rap duo Kid
and Play, hairdo.
Footage from earlier from the offices of GCW owner
Diane Hewes. Enter Sonny Siaki, David Young and Bull
Buchanan who offer their services to her in her war
against Michaels. She said that she’ll take them up on
it.
Match #3
Referee Jeff McGowan
GCW Interstate title match
Cru Jones w/Shaun Banks defeats AJ Steele w/The Intern
to retain the belt after Banks held onto Steele’s leg
as Steele was doing a outside in suplex.
Match #4
Referee Scrappy McGowan
J-Rod defeats Zero Tolerance by DQ after Zero shoved
Scrappy.
Match #5
Referee Randy Ray
Bull Buchanan and Sonny Siaki defeats Johnny Slaughter
and Orion Bishop w/Wicked Nemesis after Buchanan hits
Slaughter with a claw slam.
After the match, Wicked yelled at Slaughter for losing
and Bishop gored Slaughter. After goring him, Bishop
carried Slaughter off to the back.
Taylor McKnight introduced Quentin Michaels. And out
came Michaels and the GCW heavyweight champion Johnny
Swinger. Michaels said that he may have crossed the
line. Out comes Diane Hewes along with David Young,
Sonny Siaki and Bull Buchanan. Michaels said that he
came out to apologize face to face. He tried to kiss
up by asking if she is ok and stuff. After saying that
he went a little crazy last week, he apologized and
asked for her forgiveness. He even got on his knees
and begged for her to accept his apology. As it looked
like it was water under the bridge, Michaels grabbed
Diane by the arm . As soon as he did that Siaki,
Buchanan, and Young ran in and saved her.
Match #6
Referee Randy Ray
GCW Heavyweight Title Match
Johnny Swinger © w/Quentin Michaels and Zero Tolerance
defeats Disco Inferno after Swinger knocked Disco out
with a pair of knucks.
It looked like Disco was the new champion after
hitting Swinger with a chartbuster but Ray restarted
the match. He restarted it because Michaels tossed the
title belt into the ring but Disco hits the
chartbuster before Swinger could use it. As Ray was
getting the belt out of the ring, Michaels tossed in a
pair of brass knucks. Swinger then clocked Disco with
them and got the 3 count.
Next week the team captains for the War Games match up
will be announced. GCW had another sell out crowd of
320 folks in the Great Skate Plex. Ever since the move
to Thursday nights, GCW has been back to being one of
the top organizations in the south east. GCW
relaunches their TV show in a new format and should be
available on the internet.

suprises,turns and blood!

in a brutal hard hitting match up. Dys took it to Kato
on the floor hitting a powerbomb on the apron follwed
up by 2 tiger drivers on the wood floor. Kato managed

a back suplex. Kato missed a huge top rope move where
he almost cleared the ring which allowed Dys a chance
at hitting the hot box for the 1-2-3
The Mccoys defeated Kody Rice and Mase Morgan after a
great back and forth tag team match up. Mccoy laid out
Mase with Val's boot and picked up the W. After the
match Mase blamed Kody and had a real problem with
losing again. As Kody was leaving Mase said he was
sorry for yelling and they shook hands only having
Mase kick Kody in the balls and drop him on the spot.
Mase then beat down Kody with the fans screaming with
there displeasure of what Mase just did.
Nick Colucci defeated Steve Stone with help from Rocky

Then "OH YOU DID'NT KNOW" hit over the speaker system

Drake and Dys. The Dogg was on fire laying out
everyone and hitting a combo of punches follwed by a
Dys super kick. Dogg grabbed Malone so he could give
her doin it doggstyle but she was saved my Mickey and

VertaBreaker and sent them packing. Road got on the
