THE LUCHA REPORT: CMLL STARS IN TNA, SATANICO, RESULTS AND MORE

By Kris Zellner on 6/18/2008 10:49 PM

Rey Bucanero & Ultimo Guerrero got their work visas for the United States yesterday and will be working for TNA next Monday and Tuesday in Orlando, Florida. They said that they are ready to defend their home country along with EMLL in the World X Cup and return home victorious. Bucanero said that the finals would be on July 13th in Houston on PPV and they would give 100% to get to the finals where he thinks that their international experience in all styles will help them prevail over their opponents. They were asked about if they spoke with Alex Koslov about his TNA experience last week and Rey said that he doesn’t talk to women like him and UG co-signed saying that they haven’t spoken with him.

Satanico celebrated his 35th anniversary as a professional wrestler yesterday after making his debut on June 17th 1973 in Ciudad Guzman and he said that his career has been wonderful with still many good times to come. Satanico owed his career to his mentor Diablo Velasco because he was such a wonderful teacher who wanted his students to reach their full potential and become successful. Satanico said that he had goals for his career when he started and he exceeded them by miles as he has won 38 championships and 36 scalps/masks over his career along with working 20 straight EMLL anniversary shows at Arena Mexico where he competed in all kinds of big matches. Satanico said that travelling the world has been awesome as well as he has been to such places as Brazil, England, Germany, Holland, Japan, Switzerland, & the United States which is something he would’ve never done if it wasn’t for wrestling. Satanico closed out by saying that being known as “El Rudo Numero Uno” is something that he will also treasure because that means that no one was as good as him in his style which is the ultimate compliment.
