THE LUCHA REPORT: MISTICO INJURY UPDATE AND MUCH MORE

Mistico stated today that he is working all of his bookings even with his injured finger which he still can’t move and promised the fans that he won’t fail them as he will be at every show that he is booked on. Mistico did note though that there are 4-5 guys running around the country working as him on some really small shows and told the fans that attends those shows to let the promoters know how they feel about being swerved because it is a shame because they can tell difference between him and some impostor. Mistico was asked about not being in the main event at Arena Mexico last night and said that it doesn’t matter where on the card he works just as long as he is booked because everyone that works at Arena Mexico could be in the main event. Mistico then took a dig at Dr. Wagner Jr. saying that he isn’t like him because he worries about where he is placed at on the card because he is going to give 100% in any match he is in as payback for the fans who give their hard earned money to enjoy what they see in the ring. Mistico then went on to say that it doesn’t matter if his matches are televised or not his work ethic doesn’t change because he is dedicated to the sport as it was his lifelong dream to do this. Mistico then talked about Team Mexico (Volador Jr., Averno, Rey Bucanero, & Ultimo Guerrero) going to TNA this week and said that it is marvelous that they are going to the US to show everyone that EMLL has the best wrestlers in the world and they can compete against anyone with any style. Mistico was then asked about whether he would go to TNA and said that his duty right now is to work exclusively in Mexico and has bookings all the way up until October but said that he would like to get the chance to show his wares to a PPV audience in the US.

Negro Casas announced last night that he was returning to his true identity as a rudo and made it abundantly clear as along with his brother Heavy Metal they helped Mr. Niebla destroy Dr. Wagner Jr. last night after the main event at Arena Mexico. Negro said that he is tired of doing what the fans want and now he can be what he has always been and that’s a rudo because if he didn’t pull the trigger now, he would probably would’ve regretted it for the rest of his career. Negro said that he has enemies now on both sides as he wants to go to war with Dr. Wagner Jr. & Mistico just as much as he wants to battle Los Guerreros del Atlantida & Los Perros del Mal. Negro also said that he wants to teach some of these hot-shot youngsters like Mistico, Sagrado, La Sombra, Volador Jr., among others some respect because he doesn’t believe that some of them has earned their spots. Negro especially called out Mistico saying that he betrayed him to go with Hector Garza and felt really unappreciated after all he did for him but also called out Perro Aguayo Jr. saying that he didn’t have to rely on his dad to become a big name in the sport. Negro then talked about some of the famous sons that are high on the cards right now in EMLL like Dos Caras Jr., La Mascara, Volador Jr., & Hijo del Texano saying that like Perrito they relied on their father’s names to get their spots and they don’t have the character like their fathers.

Damian 666 talked about the beating of Dr. Wagner Jr. last night and couldn’t believe that Negro & Heavy Metal had it in them to turn rudo and he had to swallow his words because he thought they were puppets for EMLL. Damian said that Doc should watch his back everywhere he goes now because his statements in the past are coming back to haunt him and the people that he thinks are his friends might not be that. Damian also knows that the Casas brothers turning rudo only makes the Los Perros workload heavier because they will be stronger to wrestle now that they are going back to their true form.

There are more rumored departures from AAA as the names of Elegido, Mascara Divina, & Antifaz del Norte are surfacing as having either left or soon to be leaving the company.
