Averno talked about Team Mexico winning the World X Cup at the TNA PPV on Sunday
in Houston and said that they proved that they are the greatest in their
division in the world and that they would return to TNA to prove themselves
further. Rey Bucanero agreed with Averno and said that he is very pleased with
the results of the World X Cup because it was a team effort and he was very
proud of Volador Jr. winning the Ultimate X match. Bucanero knows though that
revenge is coming and that the TNA guys are coming for revenge next Friday at
Arena Mexico but the results would stay the same.
Caifan Rockero I reinjured his right knee on Sunday in Monterrey and will be out
of action for an undetermined time meaning his debut as El Brujo in EMLL this
week has been cancelled.
EMLL Director Juan Manuel Mar told Ovaciones today that the 75th Anniversary
celebration this year will be bigger than ever because they are spreading it
around to Spain in August and that they may book 2 weeks of special shows at
Arena Mexico with big apuestas matches booked.
Hijo del Lizmark stated yesterday that he would like to join up with La Peste
Negra (Heavy Metal/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla) and he feels the best he has felt in
a while after resting due to lumbar pains. Lizmark said that he would love to
join his friends in this new group to fight off all their common enemies in the
tecnicos, Los Perros del Mal, & Los Guerreros del Atlantida. Lizmark said that
he had differences with members of the Perros and that he felt out of place in
the Guerreros so this would be a perfect fit for him. Lizmark said that he knows
that he will have chronic lumbar pains for as long as he continues to wrestle
but he will change his style to help ease the pain.
Intocable stated today that he is a full independent contractor hence his debut
for AULL at Arena Lopez Mateos on 7/19 but would be open to work for AAA again
just not full-time. Intocable believes that every luchador should have the
independence that he has right now because he loves the idea of working wherever
he wants and facing many different foes to please the fans. Intocable said
though that he will have to adapt to different styles because AAA is a different
monster than other promotions. Intocable was asked about possibly working
against Mistico and he said that he would love the chance to team with him not
wrestle against him because they are tecnicos and that he doesn’t think they
could either be a rudo. Intocable then thanked the media for supporting him in
his endeavors inside and outside the ring and that his future is going to be
great.
