NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX

Episode 132

August 25, 2008

WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.

ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.

What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- Greg Hunter opens up the program with the New Wave, who nearly captured the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles from the Devil's Rejects when Shaun Tempers made the save with a belt shot prompting the referee to call for a DQ. They predict gold in their future.

- Welcome to NWA Anarchy Wrestling, this is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! Last week on NWA Anarchy, The Wild Bunch & Ace Rockwell were victorious over Todd Sexton & the Technicians, but the Seven Figure Deal succumbed to a heinous assault on his knee. Mikael Judas personally took Jeremy Vain's threats and disposed of Mr. Rob Adonis. This week, Truitt Fields defends against the returning Brandon Phoenix and the New Wave receive a rematch against the Devil's Rejects with Dan Wilson back in their corner. Don't forget that Chad Parham has returned and he always equals ratings, ratings, and more rating, but the belligerent Shadow Jackson wants to bask in the glory of stealing the Certificate of Awesomeness. John Johnson questions Shadow's sanity by inquiring why is he wrestling Parham after when Konkrete Gorillas are on the loose after they destroyed Slim J. I question Parham's sanity for stepping in the ring with Shadowmania. Johnson proclaims to be a fun night for him and horrid night for Shadow.

1. Sex, Talent & Money (JT Talent & Andrew "Money in the Bank" Pendleton) w/"the Obsession" Caleb Conley defeated The Hollywood Brunettes ("the Wizard of Aaaaaaaahs" Andrew Alexander & Kyle "Too Hot for Chikara" Matthews).

Conley has returned to NWA Anarchy and makes his presence felt by pulling Pendleton out of the way of Matthews' corner dropkick. ST&M immediately focus their attack on Matthews' taped ribs. Matthews lands a dropkick and crawls to make the hot tag to Alexander after a commercial. Alexander cleans house until Pendleton connects with a neckbreaker across the knee for a near fall. The Brunettes setup for the Sheeney Curse after Matthews kicks Pendleton in the back, but with the referee's attention turned to Talent, the Obsession sends Matthews plummeting to the floor. Pendleton rolls up Alexander and places his feet on the ropes for the victory. Afterwards, ST&M celebration is prematurely interrupted by Jeff G Bailey & the Butcher of Pyongyang. Bailey congratulates them and admits they remind him of the Devil's Rejects. Bailey books a handicap match and warns Dan to pay attention to what his two can do to his three. Wow, sometimes it's better to lay your shoulders to the mat and do the job.

2. The NWA Elite ("the Universal Soldier" Phil Shatter & "the Butcher of Pyongyang" Kimo) w/Jeff J Bailey defeated Sex, Talent & Money.

When you have hardly any body fat and you're as strong as Shatter, how do you escape a headlock, just toss the mother f**ker aside. How do you deal with his partner? By throwing him around and tag in the Korean Assassin to assassinate his character. While watching all of this, what has ST&M done to deserve this horrible fate? Kimo easily counters a double STO. More open palm thrusts and displays of strength by Kimo. ST&M tries to take fight by launching an assault, but it's of no use. Kimo welcome Caleb back to the NWA Arena with the Information Extractor. Shatter adds to the destruction with the PTSD on Pendleton. Somebody call the feds because this is one ATM machine that's been busted wide open and robbed of its riches. Just an awesome display of brutality.

3. "0% Body Fat" Truitt Fields pinned "Where in the World Is" Brandon Phoenix to retain the NWA Anarchy TV Title.

Recently, Phoenix frequently wrestled in North Carolina, including CWA/PWS, which runs many shows out of Statesville, NC and often features wrestler like Steve Corino, Are$ (yes, that one, the one that teamed with Claudio back in the day), Al Snow, and Allison Danger. It's a good promotion and definitely suggest paying them a visit. I believe Phoenix teamed with the Obsession on several occasions. Now with that aside, the question remains, how does Jeff Lewis and Hayden Young feel about Phoenix receiving a TV Title shot? After Fields dazzles Phoenix with amazing feats of strength, Brandon dips. Back in the ring, Fields continues to dazzle Phoenix with more amazing feats of strength. Know what is more dazzling? The Feature Presentation paying homage to Fields and predicting a successful sequel. Phoenix clubs Fields from behind. Lewis slowly pulls his shirt and shades off to attack Fields, but Hayden "I Have a Good Hairdo if I'm a Kiwi or Going to the Electric Chair" Young chases him off. Good line from Johnson. Phoenix tosses Fields in for a pair of two counts. After commercial, Fields catches Phoenix with a rookie mistake on a backdrop attempt. After arguing over a great move like a Greco Roman eyelock, the referee issues his count after a double clothesline. More domination by Fields, but Phoenix escapes the Killing Fields and plants him face first. Nice. It doesn't matter, Fields easily disposes of Phoenix with the Killing Fields. Afterwards, Lewis snatches the belt from the referee and smashes Fields. Young takes the belt and Fields catches him with the title. Fields confronts Young, but the minor skirmish ends with the Flying Squirrel pushing the champ. This wasn't a good match considering the talent and it had a nonsensical finish. You mean Truitt didn't think to or Young didn't attempt to look at the taped footage?

4. The New Wave (Derek Driver & Steven Walters) defeated the Devil's Rejects (Azreal & Shaun Tempers) w/"the Reverend Dan Wilson & His Staff of Righteousness via DQ so the Rejects retain the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles.

Hey Azreal, never leave yourself wide open by attempting a spin kick as your first move. The New Wave send the Rejects cascading like waterfalls to recoup their senses. Back in the ring, Azreal catches a leaping Driver with a dropkick to the mush. After commercial, the Rejects decide to further inflict punishment instead of cleanly delivering the Hellhammer. To the corner, Azreal nearly decapitates Driver with a running knee. At ringside, Wilson howls in delight. Azreal sets up for a middle rope gourdbuster, but Driver escapes with a rana. Driver wriggles to his corner to make the hot tag to Walters. Walters works over Tempers and almost scores the pinfall with Sunset flip. Driver sends Azreal flying to the floor and they hit the Unskinny Bop on Tempers. Wilson prevents the pinfall by pulling the referee to the floor and busts his jaw wide open. Referee Brent Wiley scurries to the ring and slides in like Tommy Young to make the pinfall count. It appears we have new champions, but the original referee Harold James disqualified the Rejects due to outside interference. That was a bull nuts Dusty finish, but still a solid match.

5. Shadow Jackson pinned "the Holder & Destructor of the Certificate of Awesomeness" Chad Parham.

Chad has picked the wrong brother to mess with it. Really, does a snot nosed not a very nice person from Buckhead actually think he can stop Shadowmania? Shadow serves up the hors d'oeuvres by dominating Parham with power wrestling. Parham retreats to the floor and punches the glass to his Certificate of Awesomeness before heading back in the ring to dominate using dastardly heel tactics. What a vile human being Chad is. Parham self-inflicts damage to his cojones and this allows Shadow to mount a major comeback. Seth Delay heads out to interfere and he meets the dreaded Rocket Launcher. NWA Owner Jerry Palmer prevents further interference by chasing Delay away with an axe-handle. (Okay so a though just hit me, it'd be awesome if Palmer teamed with Timber and both wielded barbed wire axe-handles.) Delay escapes through the front door. Shadow demands more chops, but Parham goes to the eyes and grabs the Certificate of Awesomeness. Sal Rinauro saves the match for Shadow as he delivers the 10-31, but not a hanging from the Konkrete Gorillas. Fields, Rinauro and Palmer make the save. Fun stuff.

Last week's NWAME review by Tommy Stewart

Shank "The Freak" Barzinni vs. JP Lightning

The show opened with a bang! That is, the bang of Shank "The Freak" Barzinni's belly against the floor. Lightning hit an Eddie Guerrero senton and a dropkick to the head for two. Barzinni got the heat with a knee to the head. He went up for a moonsault, but Lightning caught him and put him in the Tree of Woe. He, then, went up top and hit a double footstomp to Barzinni's chest. Of course, it didn't mean anything because he was up seconds later, nailing Lightning with the briefcase behind the ref's back and getting the pin. It was OK, but a killer move like the double footstomp shouldn't be just another move. Too dangerous.

Shank Barzinni Promo.

Uncle Walt cut a decent promo and then Barzinni started hitting himself with the briefcase.

JP Lightning Promo.

Standard babyface promo. Didn't embarrass himself.

LONESTAR, BABY~! w/Miss Penelope vs. Ryan Stone.

Stone's offense looked downright pitiful against Big Star. Lonestar got the Michinoku Driver for the finish. Big squash by the big man. It served its purpose.

Eric Wayne & Kid Nickels vs. Greg King Jr. & Bryan Casey.

Wayne and Nickels busted out the HART ATTACK~! for a two-count. Wayne didn't jump high enough, but it still looked good. For the first time, they mentioned that Eric's Wayne father is "Nightmare" Ken Wayne. You think that would've been put over the first time we saw him and every time since. Wayne went to the wrong corner for a tag and King WALLOPED him with a forearm that Wayne sold like a shotgun blast! Wow. Nickels hit a powerslam, followed up with a flying headbutt from Wayne for the finish. No hot tag? This was a squash disguised as another chapter in the Greg King Jr. vs. Eric Wayne storyline.

Shane Smalls vs. "Playboy" Scott Hayes - NWA Mid-America Television Championship Match.

Match started with Smalls working the leg of Hayes with some a submission that bent the leg the way it's supposed to bend. How, exactly, does that hurt again? Smalls did a single-leg and went right back to it before applying a more traditional leglock. Hayes went for a fireman's carry, but Smalls single-legged him again and applied the Figure-4. Hayes got a series of nearfalls and then applied a Figure-4 of his own. Hayes went for a tornado DDT, but Smalls WAFFLED him with a boot and put his feet on the ropes for the pin. Surprisingly good match.

"The New Age Assassin" Tim Renesto vs. Miss Boogie's surprise opponent.

The surprise opponent was a masked man, named Yin-Yang. This was a squash, but was entertaining because, let's face it, Renesto's great. He had the win several times, but continued to pull up Yin-Yang. Renesto hit a flying kneedrop off the top and STILL pulled up Yin-Yang. Then, the garage door of the Fairgrounds opened and Gary Valiant drove in a fly yellow truck and went on the attack! However, Daniels and Lonestar ran-in and ganged up on Boogie. They duct taped Boogie's hands behind his back. Lonestar dumped Boogie into his truck bed and directed traffic with Renesto behind the wheel as they drove away. This was good stuff! Very entertaining!

Snake Jones vs. "Atomic Dogg" Ali Stevens - Last Man Standing Match.

Stevens began the match hitting the Dog Catcher Splash twice on Snake. As Jones sat up, Little Booger and Charming Charles climbed into the ring and got the double noggin knocker for their efforts. Snake, then, applied the Million Dollar Dream. Stevens hit a low-blow to escape, but Booger and Charles choked him with the chain behind the ref's back. In a low DQ match, why does it have to be behind the ref's back? Owens wasn't paying attention as he counted out Stevens. This wasn't good.

Deputy Commissioner Gordon Interview.

He said he'd find Boogie.

Steve-O vs. Jeff "The Crippler" Daniels - Steel Cage Match.

The entire match was in black & white, as we got the double-juice. The now-mandatory head-slamming in the cage spot happened early with Steve-O slamming it on Daniels's head. Steve-O finally had a fire lit under him for this match and was working hard. Daniels missed a clothesline and ate a superkick. Steve-O finally escaped the cage and won the feud as Daniels had a look of complete shock on his face. It's hard to have a good cage match with that little TV time. This was simply OK.

Steve-O Promo.

The triumphant babyface promo. He wants the Mid-America Heavyweight Title. I guess he's next for a title shot after Stevens loses it.

Jeff Daniels Promo.

Daniels was happy to get respect, even though he lost. On the other hand, he was ecstatic about dumping Boogie in the river. I laughed. It looks like the primary feud is going to be Daniels and Boogie from now on. The lighting was weird on this promo, but it was awesome! He said he didn't care where he was, even if he was at church! He said he would slap the preacher and then start nailing Boogie. AWESOME~! This was great.

Result: Good show. Thumbs up.

NWA MAIN EVENT Wrestling coming to Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

It was official on August 27th, 2008 Professional wrestling will return to Murfreesboro, Tn. under the banner of the National Wrestling Alliance. The main event has been signed and features two Murfreesboro, Tenn natives. Coach Kenneth Hammonds and Major Bill Kennedy taking on Jason James and a partner of his choosing.

The date is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th, 2008 with an 8 PM belltime. A percentage of the proceeds will go to sponsor the Blackman High School wrestling team.

When asked about the upcoming match, Jason James who has been wrestling since 2004, had this to say, "It's a pure shame that these two grown men are trying to live out childhood dreams at such an advanced age. Mr.(Kenneth) Hammonds and (Major) Kennedy have no clue what they have coming. Professional Wrestling is no joke.  It is a serious business.  It a business that people strive on to make a living.  It's a business of respect and these two     are already trying to turn it into a comedy act. In June I got sidelined with a left distal tibia fracture.  To speak in terms that all the Blackman people will understand, that's a fracture of the ankle.  September 20th will be my first match back.  I'm not gonna say that my ankle will be 100%, but it will be good enough to get the job done against the two amateurs."

Mr. Hammonds and Major Kennedy of the Blackman wrestling team feel that this will be a good way to raise funds for the team.  It will be the first time they lace up a pair of boots and try their luck in the squared circle.

The show will also feature a ladies match bout as Scarlett Rose squares off against Ms. Penelope, along with 4 other matches featuring several NWA Main Event Superstars.

You can purchase advance tickets for this show from any member of the Blackman Wrestling Team or from the Booster Club.  Tickets will be available the day of the event.

Each advance ticket purchase will make you eligible for a chance at a door prize.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Sons of Wrestling Legends to vie for NWA Texas Heavyweight title in Amarillo

Two sons of professional wrestling legends have agreed to a “Showdown in Amarillo” September 6, at the Wrestleplex, and will be putting a lot on the line to boot.

Three-time National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Texas Heavyweight champion Chaz Taylor, out of Houston, and son of Tugboat Taylor, immediately decided to put his newly acquired strap won in San Antonio last Sunday up against Mike DiBiase, son of Ted “Million Dollar Man” DiBiase, and brother of WWE’s Ted, Jr. with one condition imposed.

Taylor’s stipulation to DiBiase was if DiBiase lost he’d be given the next shot at his NWA North American Heavyweight title, or within 60 days, whichever comes first.  DiBiase agreed to the stipulation on the condition that the Texas title match take place in his hometown of Amarillo, and be setup right away before Taylor changed his mind.

NWA Southwest (NWA-SW) owner Ken Taylor signed the match and said this will deliver to Amarillo and The Panhandle the first NWA Texas Heavyweight title match since the late David Von Erich claimed his forth title in Amarillo in 1980. “ We’re expecting a big crowd on September 6 because this match not only delivers a match up featuring sons of legends fighting for family pride, but also the first NWA title match in 28 years in Amarillo” said Taylor.

DiBiase said he holds a great admiration for the legacy of the NWA Texas Heavyweight title, and relishes the opportunity to be a dual belt holder by defeating Taylor. “The Texas title has been around six decades so it means a lot to have an opportunity to be part of that kind of history and legacy, and I plan to become part of that come September 6,” DiBiase stated.

Taylor said he figured the only way to get DiBiase’s full attention about giving him a North American title shot was to sweeten the pot by putting up his strap. “We both have fathers who have been in the business a long time, but this is not about them come September 6, “ said Taylor. ”I’d fight DiBiase in a dark alley in the worst ghetto if he’d put his North American strap up.”

2 out of 3 falls Tag Team Championship Match, Dallas Murdock & Cassidy vs Champions Paco & Blitz. If this contest went to the third fall it was to be a NO DQ fall. This was a very brutal match it was clear from the beginning that Cassidy and Murdock have not put their problems behind them they were not a well oild machine. Cassidy was constantly talking trash to Murdock as well as his opponents and the fans. the match went to the third fall, this fall went all over the place in and out fo the ring in to the crowd it was violent and brutal. Paco and Blitz showing great team work pulled out the third and final pin to with the match. After the match Cassidy blamed Mrudock of not holding up his end and it erupted in to a pier 6 brawl, the two had to be pulled apart by other wrestlers and even some fans. This is not over boy a long shot Commissioner Stan told them they had to settle things in a sanctioned match not in after match brawl and booked them to
