GCW returns on October 9 to the GR8 SK8 Plex in Phenix City, AL, with GCW Heavyweight Champion Micah Taylor & Bull Buchanan vs. Johnny Swinger & GCW Interstate Champion Sonny Siaki, GCW Tag Team Champions "That 80's Guy" John Bogie & Kareem-Abdul Jamar vs. The Merchants of Death (Murder One & Orion Bishop with Wicked Nemesis), J-Rod vs. Cru Jones, Scotty Beach vs. Ron Stalker and Tex Monroe vs. Joey Lightening. Bell time is 7:30pm.

Total Nonstop Action’s Bound for Glory PPV will be broadcast live from the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL, tonight. Advertised: Samoa Joe defends the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Sting; Jeff Jarrett versus Kurt Angle, with Mick Foley as special referee; Beer Money, Inc., defends the TNA World Tag Team Title against Matt Morgan & Abyss, Team 3D, and Latin American Xchange in the Monster’s Ball, with Steve McMichael as special referee; Taylor Wilde defends the TNA Women’s Title against Roxxi Laveaux and Awesome Kong in a three-way match; and the Steel Asylum match featuring X Division talent. The broadcast begins at 8:00 PM.

TNA will be taping for two consecutive weeks just before Christmas. The dates for the iMPACT tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, are as follows: December 8-9 and December 15-16.

Ring of Honor will be at the Danbury Police Athletic League Building in Danbury, CT, on October 24. Advertised: an Iron Man tag team match featuring Kevin Steen & El Generico, Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black, and Chris Hero & Davey Richards, with Larry Sweeney, and the Latin American Xchange; Go Shiozaki defends the FIP Heavyweight Title against Austin Aries; a three-way no disqualification match featuring Mark Briscoe, Delirious, and Necro Butcher; and Jerry Lynn versus Claudio Castagnoli. Bell time is 7:30 PM.

ROH has announced the rescheduled dates for the events in Florida that were originally scheduled for this month. All tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored. On February 6, ROH will be at the Coral Springs Gymnasium in Coral Springs, FL. On February 7, ROH will be at the Downtown Recreation Complex in Orlando, FL.

The results of the October 5 !BANG! event in Ocala, FL: Osamu Nishimura, Dory Funk, Jr., & Johnny Magnum defeated HC Loc, Blain Rage & Todd Smith. Johnny Magnum defeated Elvis Sharp to become the new Funking Conservatory champion. Blain Rage defeated Shane Chung and Antonio Thomas in a 3 way to become the new Florida champion. Johnny Romano defeated "Pistol" Peyton Gunn to advance to the hardcore championship match. Damien Steele defeated Johnny Romano to retain the hardcore championship. The next !BANG! event will be on October 26.

The results of the October 4 Great American Wrestling Federation event from Hosford, FL: Steve Goins defeated Colbie Stern to retain the Jr. heavyweight title. "Marvelous" Matt Mercer defeated Morgan Davis. AJ Stokes vs. Cameron Thomas ended in a double countout. GAWF tag champions, The Irish Drinking Team defeated former Commissioner Robert Storm in a handicap match. Storm was fired earlier in the evening by promoter Skip Skipperman after Storm gave the vacant GAWF championship. In an anything goes match, Dallas Riley defeated Ryan Mitchell due to outside interference. Michael Steel defeated Michael Patrick. After the match, Steel asked Skipperman to bring in David Young and Skipperman said it will happen. Steve Goins defeated "Pretty Boy" Donnie B thanks to outside interference.

Championship Wrestling returns to the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport, TN, for the first time since mid-summer on October 11 with Ricky Morton and Bobby Eaton added to the card. Here is the revised lineup: Steel Cage Match for the National Heavyweight Title: Champion, "The Cold" Alyx Winters vs. "High Risk" Robbie Cassidy, Model City Street Fight for the United States Tag Team Titles: Champions, Steve Fury & Bobby Eaton (replacing the suspended Chris Richards (with John Hawkins) vs. The Hick Hop Express (Beau James & Moe Jenkins with Misty James), 2 out of 3 Falls Match for the CW Television Title: Champion, "The Real Deal" Chase Owens (with Ashlee Hope) vs. SSW Champion "Sensational" Wayne Adkins, AWA Alcatraz Escape Match: #1 Contender for the AWA Heavyweight Title, Tony Givens put his World Title shot on the line in a Steel Cage Battle Royal where the first person to escape wins. Other participants in this match include: Cody Ices, The 420 Hit Squad, Scotty Roberts, Mr. Bolo and more, Non-Title Challenge Match: "Notorious" Nick Hammonds vs. AWA Heavyweight Champion Brian Logan, and Ricky Morton vs. Adam York (with The Jin). Southern Wrestling Association results from “Fall Festival” at the Freedom Christian Center in Gastonia, NC, on October 4: Jamie Lee defeated Revolution. SWA Tag Team Championship: Simply Perfection (Rocky Xavier Starr & Mike McCloud) defeated B.J. Hancock & Will Balderas. The Carolina Wrecking Crew (Wicked & Ric Hart) defeated Dr. Dread & Stevie Wonder. SWA Heavyweight Championship: Shea Shea McGrady defeated Derek Ryze. Max Cortex & Stumpy Grimmett defeated James Drake & Tom Williams. The Corporate Mafia (Doctor Feelgood & Christopher Stevens) defeated The Carolina Wrecking Crew. Avalanche won an Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal.

The SWA presents “Cross the Line” at the National Guard Armory in Forest City, NC, on October 11. Bell time is 8:00 PM. Tickets are $7. Children 7 and under free. There was a stipulation that unless Scott & Steinborn won the match, the Assassins would continue to reign as champions, thus the draw returned the title to them. The Assassins had been billed as Georgia Tag Team Champions since August 13, 1971. Paul DeMarco was being billed as the California Heavyweight Champion. Wilbur Snyder participated in an autograph session for fans.
