NEWS and NOTES

Alternative Pro Wrestling’s Greg Hunter will join me tonight for a PSP Fix, live at 9:30 PM ET. Great Championship Wrestling’s Taylor McKnight will also be on at around 9:45. If you miss it, the archive will be available afterward.

In a UK Sun story, Jeff Jarrett has responded to comments made by Kurt Angle last month in their paper, as well as some made on air during tapings for Total Nonstop Action’s iMPACT show. Jarrett says Angle is a different person than the one who entered TNA two years ago, “in and out of the ring”, and noted he was disappointed at Angle’s negative comments about the company. On the comments Angle made on iMPACT regarding Jarrett’s late wife, he said the remarks were unplanned, and he confronted Angle afterward, telling him the comments are hurtful to his daughters.

Ring of Honor has a new Video Wire up here. Also, ROH’s Driven PPV will debut on November 14 on iN Demand, Dish Network, and TVN cable systems, as well as Viewer’s Choice and Bull ExpressVu in Canada.

Some additions have been made to upcoming ROH events. The advertised match between Jimmy Jacobs and Austin Aries in Edison, NJ, on October 25 is now an anything goes match. The two will also meet in a dog collar match which has been added to the November 8 event in Markham, ON, and again on November 22 in an “I Quit” match in Chicago, IL. Jerry Lynn is slated to wrestle Delirious on November 7 in Montreal, PQ.
