PREVIEWING THE ADRENALINE MMA II PRELIMINARY CARD

By David Tees on 12/8/2008 7:41 AM

Adrenaline MMA Welterweight Division Fight
Jesse Lennox (8-1-0) vs. Ryan Williams (0-0-0)

Jesse Lennox is a well traveled MMA veteran who was a competitor in the now defunct International Fight League. Jesse Lennox will be making his Adrenaline MMA debut in this fight, but has fought the majority of his career in the mainstream MMA promotion. After starting off his career with a seven fight undefeated streak, then suffered his first and only loss to Emyr Bussade in April of 2008. In nine professional fights, none of them have gone to a decision for Jesse Lennox, which speaks to his finishing abilities. Jesse Lennox is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with all eight career victories coming by knockout or submission. This will be the professional MMA debut for Ryan Williams and his inexperience could play a huge factor against a fighter who has already competed in nine professional fights.

My Prediction: Jesse Lennox

Adrenaline MMA Lightweight Division Fight
Jacob Hey (4-2-0) vs. Danny Rodriquez (2-3-0)

Jacob Hey is quickly becoming a rising star in mixed martial arts, last competing in the final event of Sho XC this past October. Jacob Hey started off his MMA career with a four fight undefeated streak, but has fallen on hard times recently by suffering two straight losses. This past October, Jacob Hey actually competed in two different MMA events in under a week, losing to Nathan Murdock and Jared McMahan in those fights. Jacob Hey is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with all four career victories coming by knockout or submission. Danny Rodriquez enters this fight with both a losing record and not having competed in an MMA fight in over a year. Danny Rodriquez’s last professional MMA fight was a loss to Chris McDaniel at Cage Fighting Championships 1. In an interesting career note, all five of Danny Rodriquez’s professional fights have ended by way of submission. Danny Rodriquez will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with both career victories coming by submission.

My Prediction: Jacob Hey

Adrenaline MMA Featherweight Division Fight
LC Davis (11-1-0) vs. Billy “The” Kid (7-7-0)

LC Davis is a well traveled MMA veteran who has competed in the International Fight League and Titan Fighting Championships promotions. During his time in the International Fight League, LC Davis defeated Jay Estrada, Connor Heun and Rafael Dias, while suffering his lone loss in his career and promotion to Wagney Fabiano. LC Davis began his career with a nine fight undefeated streak, before suffering that lone career loss to Wagney Fabiano in December 2007. LC Davis is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with ten career victories coming by knockout or submission. Billy Kidd has been a veteran of the King Of The Cage promotion, where he has achieved three wins with two losses. Prior to this fight, Billy Kidd has only fought once before this year, so conditioning could play a factor in this fight. Billy Kidd does hold a victory over Mike French, who is a veteran of World Extreme Cagefighting. Billy Kidd will be looking to use his striking skills to gain the victory, with four victories coming by knockout.

My Prediction: LC Davis
