Perro Aguayo Jr. said today that the first Perros del Mal show yesterday in
Mexico City had some trying moments but in the end it surpassed all of his
expectations because of the great fans and the wrestlers who gave a tremendous
effort to please them. Perrito said that he hasn’t been part of a show where the
matches had electricity like it had in many years and that he was very proud of
that fact because if the fans left the show happy then their goals as a
promotion was accomplished. Perrito said that the lower prices and great talent
overcame what failures they had and that they would improve their show quality
even more with each passing show. Perrito said that Dos Caras Jr. was supposed
to be on the show but he pulled himself off due to the issues with PdM & EMLL
and there were other surprises that didn’t pan out (Rob Van Dam) so he
apologized to any fans who expected anything that they didn’t deliver.
Cibernetico told Box y Lucha in their latest issue that he felt like he handled
his departure from AAA in a very professional fashion and that if he had made a
bigger deal out of it by calling a press conference it would’ve turned into a
media circus which he didn’t want. Ciber said that leaving AAA hurt him
tremendously because that was his home and he didn’t want to do it but the
cancer in that locker room forced his hand. Ciber said that he could’ve taken
the AAA Mega Heavyweight Title with him or threw it in the trash can but that
would be disrespect to the sport which he would never do. Ciber said that he
left with his dignity and wouldn’t let Konnan take it from him so he gives much
respect and gratitude to the true people in charge of AAA and wishes them luck
in the future. Ciber again was asked about working for EMLL and said that he was
offered some dates but just wouldn’t feel right working there because he isn’t
from their promotion originally and that he has always been either an
independent or affiliated with AAA. Ciber then admitted that he had a bad
experience with EMLL over 10 years ago where he was actually training there for
4 months but something happened that he wouldn’t forget thus forming his opinion
of their promotion. Ciber said that he loves being an independent now because he
can work where he wants plus working for Perros del Mal is very beneficial for
his career right now because he can share a ring with Dr. Wagner Jr. which he
has wanted to do for years. Ciber also said that he doesn’t rule out working for
AULL or IWRG and would speak to their promoters if they meet his demands and if
his schedule was free.
Dr. Wagner Jr. said today that EMLL can’t veto him from Arena Mexico and that
taking him off of those shows would cost them many fans making it a heavy price
to pay for their decision. Doc said that he doesn’t have to follow anyone’s
rules but his and that he would think about taking legal action against EMLL but
hopes that would be a last resort. Wagner then talked about the PdM show
yesterday and said that Perrito & Cibernetico will pay for their act of jealousy
and treason so he would pay them back soon.
Alex Koslov told Box y Lucha this weekend that EMLL has been doing their best to
have him & Rocky Romero deported back to the United States after leaving them
for AAA. Koslov said that he knew the consequences of leaving the promotion but
didn’t think they would go this far so he & Romero have to go to the National
Institute of Migration to keep renewing their weekly visa until a solution can
be resolved. Koslov said that he agrees with Arturo Rivera who said that EMLL is
dying because they are so closeminded regarding their business and that they
should evolve into something like what AAA has become because they have so much
talent that is being wasted and that those guys are losing out. Koslov then
talked about Hector Garza stealing his act since he left and he demanded that he
quit copying him because it is lame for someone like Garza with his experience
to do something like that. Koslov said that Garza’s turn to the tecnico side
hasn’t gone as well as he hoped so he had to copy him to try and get over.
Koslov then said that Garza wasn’t the reason why Perros del Mal was successful
but it was Aguayo who is a risktaker and knows how to evolve in the business
because he has true talent unlike Garza who is just a dog. Koslov said that D-MEX
is growing in popularity by the day and that they would be introducing a new
member soon possibly being a Mexican and that their main goal right now is to
remove Konnan from power. Koslov then talked about his friend Marco Corleone
saying that coming to AAA isn’t in his plans right now because he likes being in
EMLL as they have plans for him.
