NEWS

The DF Box y Lucha Commission told Blue Panther that he would be able to wear his mask one more time either this Friday or next Friday at Arena Mexico. BP said though that this wouldn’t be in the ring for a match but for a special ceremony as the National Institute of Women are presenting a special award to him for his work against violence on women. BP was very honored that they thought of him for this award and that they wanted him to wear his mask one more time because he considers that mask his partner and even carries it with him to every show inside of a shirt. BP said that he understands why they want him to wear the mask because more people recognize him with the mask on than with it off and that to get the message across, he needs more people to able to put the two together.

L.A. Par-K said yesterday that he can finally have the feud with Dr. Wagner Jr. that he has always wanted in Perros del Mal because EMLL wouldn’t allow him to do what he wanted to do and Perro Aguayo Jr. has told him that he has free reign. Par-K said that Wagner is a chicken and doesn’t want to put his mask on the line against him like he has said in the past so if he wants to change that perception he has of him then he should be a man and step up to the plate because there aren’t any restrictions on them anymore.

Mistico said yesterday that he is sick and tired of all these rudo factions and it’s time that someone created a true tecnico faction to counter Los Hijos del Averno, Los Guerreros del Atlantida, and etc. Mistico like Averno said though that he doesn’t want to be the specific leader of a faction but would support it heavily unlike his former tag partner Hector Garza who wanted to be in full control of a faction that completely fell apart. Mistico said that he has reached out to some guys and asked them for their help to overtake Los Hijos del Averno so he can finally overtake Averno and unmask him. Mistico then revealed Mascara Purpura, La Sombra, Volador Jr., & Astro Boy is the ones that he has recruited while Garza can have the rest because he thinks the fans want new matches with new guys teamed up instead of being bored at the same things.

NWA World Heavyweight Champ Blue Demon Jr. stated yesterday that La Sombra is not the official NWA Welterweight champion because that specific belt isn’t recognized by the NWA and he basically just holds a meaningless title. Demon said that NWA Mexico had meetings with EMLL and wanted to use the wrestlers they have that hold NWA titles but they turned that offer down so they don’t own those titles. Demon said that the NWA let EMLL keep their belts after they quit working together in 1990 but now with their rebirth in Mexico, they want to start using those belts more than ever and it’s a sham.

La Sombra was asked about those comments and said that if Demon wants the belt so bad then he should come take it from him either in the ring or out of it.

Pegasso & Rey Cometa have given quite a few interviews over the past couple of days where they have announced that EMLL will be giving them tryouts basically in January at Arena Mexico. The former members of La Fuerza Aerea in AAA have been working indy shows for the past few months and could spice up the tecnico side of things in EMLL.
