World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown crew will be at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, AL, today. Advertised: Jeff Hardy & Triple H versus Vladimir Kozlov & Edge; and Umaga versus the Great Khali. Ring of Honor results from the house show at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, IL, on January 31: Alex Payne over Kenny King and Silas Young in a three-way match; Claudio Castagnoli over Kevin Steen; Grizzly Redwood over Rhett Titus; Jerry Lynn & Necro Butcher over Brodie Lee & Delirious; Tyler Black over Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Jacobs, and Austin Aries in a four-way match; Nigel McGuinness over El Generico to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Title; Black came out to cash in on his “anytime” title shot with McGuinness, but before the match could begin, Jacobs and Aries attacked Tyler, and then Lynn & Butcher came out and got involved, allowing McGuinness to slip away; Brent Albright over Adam Pearce for the win in the steel cage warfare that included Albright’s partners Erick Stevens, Roderick Strong, Jay Briscoe, and Ace Steel, and Pearce’s partners Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Bobby Dempsey, and Tank Tolland – after the match, Larry Sweeney spit at Dempsey, causing Dempsey to begin pummeling him.

Rampage Pro Wrestling will be Johnny G's Fun Center in Warner Robins, GA, today. Advertised: In the semi-finals of the tag tournament, Sal Rinauro & the Ninja vs. Chip Day & Shaun Banks. Kelly was demanding a rematch with Mauldin for the Georgia Heavyweight Title with “nothing barred, except Crussell”, adding that besides the purse, he would put up an additional $100, donating his entire share to a charity should he lose. It also mentions that tickets for cards in Atlanta can be purchased at Adam Hat Store at 64 Peachtree Street. As well as listing the same office staff credits as in previous programs, this program notes that Morris Manheim assists Bill Hartman with ticket sales. It was announced that Bill Longson would be wrestling in Atlanta on February 8, 1946.

Homer O’Dell managed Lubich. Eddie Graham was declared the winner of his match when Freddie Blassie was unable to continue the match. Blassie had been billed as World Heavyweight Champion since June 29, 1962. Graham’s plane from Florida had been forced to land in Birmingham, AL, as Atlanta was experiencing bad weather, and he had to endure a three-hour taxi ride to Atlanta. Blassie later complained that his ribs were hindering him and the title should not have been allowed to change hands, but his complaints did not change the decision. However, Graham agreed to a return match on February 8, 1963.
