WEC Lightweight Division Fight
“Razor” Rob McCullough (16-5-0) vs. Marcus “The Wrecking Ball” Hicks (8-1-0)
Rob McCullough is a former WEC Lightweight Champion, who lost his title to Jamie Varner at WEC 32 in February of 2008. After suffering the title loss, Rob McCullough rebounded to defeat Kenneth Alexander at WEC 34, but lost a top contenders fight to Donald Cerrone at WEC 36. In the last four years, Rob McCullough has only lost two of twelve professional MMA fights he has participated in. Rob McCullough will be looking to use his striking skills to gain the victory, with nine victories coming by knockout. Marcus Hicks rose to prominence in the WEC in 2008, before losing a WEC Lightweight Title opportunity to Jamie Varner at WEC 35. Prior to the loss, Marcus Hicks won three straight fights in the WEC over Sergio Gomez, Scott McAfeee and Ed Ratcliff. Before suffering the loss to Jamie Varner at WEC 35, Marcus Hicks started off his MMA career on an eight fight undefeated streak. Marcus Hicks will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with five victories coming by way of submission.
My Prediction: Marcus Hicks

WEC Featherweight Title Fight
Mike Thomas Brown (20-4-0) *Champion* vs. Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia (12-3-0)
Mike Thomas Brown pulled possibly the biggest upset in WEC history when he defeated Urijah Faber at WEC 36 to become the WEC Featherweight Champion. Prior to the title win, Mike Thomas Brown made his WEC debut at WEC 34 by defeating for WEC Featherweight Title top contender Jeff Curran. Mike Thomas Brown has also fought in the UFC, losing to Genki Sudo at UFC 47. Besides competing in the WEC and UFC, Mike Thomas Brown has also fought in promotions like DEEP, Bodog Fight and Absolute Fighting Championships. Mike Thomas Brown will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with eleven victories coming by submission. Leonard Garcia has had a fast ride to being a top contender in the WEC Featherweight Division, by defeating Victor Estrada at WEC 1, Hiroyuki Takaya at WEC 32 and Jens Pulver at WEC 36. Like Mike Thomas Brown, Leonard Garcia has fought in the UFC, defeating Allen Berubie, while losing to Roger Huerta and Cole Miller.
