Raphael Assuncao (12-1-0) vs. Jameel “The Sergeant” Massouh (21-4-0)
Raphael Assuncao will be making his WEC debut in this fight, but is a veteran of the American Fight League, Absolute Fighting Championships and Ring Of Fire promotions. The lone loss in Raphael Assuncao’s MMA career came to WEC and UFC veteran Jeff Curran at Xtreme Fighting Organization 13 in November 2006. Shane Roller is undefeated in WEC competition, with victories over Todd Moore at WEC 35 and Mike Budnik at WEC 37. After suffering the only loss of his career in his professional MMA debut in September 2007, Shane Roller has gone on a five fight winning streak. The other three victories in Shane Roller’s career came over Ryan Winthers, Erick Fernandez and Yoshihiro Kitaoka. Shane Roller is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with five victories coming by submission or knockout. Ben Henderson made his WEC debut at WEC 38, by defeating Anthony Njokuani by submission in the second round. In October 2008, Ben Henderson scored the biggest victory of his career when he defeated UFC veteran Diego Saraiva at a Evolution MMA event. Ben Henderson is currently on a seven fight winning streak that started in February 2007 and has gone on since. Ben Henderson will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with six victories coming by way of victory.

Jeff “The Big Frog” Curran (29-10-1) vs. Joseph Benavidez (9-0-0)
Jeff Curran is a longtime veteran of the World Extreme Cagefighting, Ultimate Fighting Championships, PRIDE and International Fight League. Jeff Curran is a former top contender to the WEC Featherweight Championship, which was held by Urijah Faber at the time. Jeff Curran has fought top MMA fighters like Bao Quach, Matt Serra, Jason Dent, Waggney Fabiano, Charles Bennett, Urijah Faber, Mike Brown and Waggney Fabiano. Jeff Curran will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with eighteen victories coming by way of submission. Joseph Benavidez is an undefeated fighter who made his WEC debut at WEC 37, when he defeated Danny Martinez. Joseph Benavidez won the DREAM Lightweight Grand Prix when he defeated Junya Kudo by submission. Joseph Benavidez is also a veteran of the Palace Fighting Championships promotion, where he defeated Jason Georgianna and Maurice Eazel. Joseph Benavidez will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with six victories coming by way of submission.

Miguel Torres (36-1-0) *Champion* vs. Takeya Misogamist (11-2-2)
Miguel Torres is the current WEC Bantamweight Champion, who won the title after defeating Chase Beebe at WEC 32. During his other fights in the WEC, Miguel Torres defeated Jeff Bedard at WEC 30, Yoshiro Maeda at WEC 34 and Manny Tapia at WEC 37. Miguel Torres started off his MMA career in impressive fashion with a twenty fight undefeated streak and is currently riding a sixteen fight winning streak as he enters this fight. Miguel Torres is also a veteran of promotions like Total Fight Challenge, Ironheart Crown and Superbrawl promotions. Miguel Torres will be looking to put this fight on the ground, with twenty two victories coming by way of submission. Takeya Mizugaki will be making his WEC debut in this fight, but brings plenty of experience into this fight, having competed in the Shooto and Greatest Common Multiple promotions. While in the Greatest Common Multiple promotion, Takeya Mizugaki went undefeated with five total victories. Then, while in the Shooto promotion, Takeya Mizugaki won six of his ten fights in the promotion, while only losing two fights with two draws. Takeya Mizugaki will be looking to use his striking skills to gain the victory, with four wins coming by knockout.
