April 8th: Ring of Honor returns to Philadelphia
tomorrow (Thursday) night for the first night of back to back National TV
Tapings at The Arena (former ECW Arena) at 7 Ritner Street, Philadelphia, PA
19148. Bell time is 7:00 PM. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be in the house on
Thursday night and will be a part of "Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet".
Matches already announced for this event include Austin Aries vs. Roderick
Strong, ROH World Tag Team Champion Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. Kenny King &
Rhett Titus, and a must see rematch from last time in Philly featuring
"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black. Also scheduled to appear
on Thursday night is the NEW ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn; Nigel McGuinness;
The American Wolves, Jay Briscoe; Brent Albright; Claudio Castagnoli; The
Necro Butcher; Delirious; Jimmy Jacobs; Kenny Omega; The Dark City Fight Club,
Colt Cabana; plus more. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door on
the night of the show!!!
April 8th: On Friday night come out and see the second set of TV Tapings at

Saturday night at 8:00 PM. This week's show features Austin Aries vs. Kenny
Omega, Delirious vs. "Dirty" Ernie Osiris, SHIMMER tag team action, and the
main event of Jerry Lynn vs. Brodie Lee.
April 8th: News broke this morning as Kevin Steen and El Generico have
answered Sylvain Grenier’s challenge and selection of the American Wolves as
his partners for April 17
th when ROH returns to Montreal! As stated

Steen and Generico have selected “American Dragon†Bryan Danielson as their
partner, and now the main event for April 17
th is set! Grenier has
been running his mouth on Canadian Sports network RDS for weeks, and now he’ll
have to back it up when ROH returns to Centre Jean-Claude Malepart. Tickets

picked the perfect partners to beat the champs, or will the best tag team in
the world and the “best in the world†finally get him to shut his mouth? Be

April 8th: Just signed for Dayton on April 24th is a Four Corner
Survival. Claudio Castagnoli, deeply entrenched in a feud with Brent Albright,
will get a respite of sorts as he’ll face Silas Young, Matt “M-Dogg†Cross,
and the debuting “Skullkrusher†Rasche Brown. Brown is a Midwest veteran and
may be one of the few that can claim to be more powerful than Castagnoli. At
6’5†and 270 pounds, Brown is poised to make a strong impression on ROH, and
he’ll aim to do just that in Dayton on the 24th!
April 8th: Also signed this morning is tag team action for Chicago Ridge and
“The Homecoming II†on April 25th. The Dark City Fight Club has
seen their stock go through the roof since debuting at “Proving Ground 2009â€,
and their performances on ROH on HDNet have only solidified their standing in
ROH’s tag team division. They will face Kevin Steen and El Generico in Dayton,
and in the Windy City they will face a team hoping to impress in a similar way
– Tweek and Dash, The Phoenix Twins. The Twins have turned heads in limited
ROH action, and now have their biggest test. Will the DCFC continue their
dominance, or will the Phoenix Twins make their name in ROH in Chicago?
April 8th: Colt Cabana sent word to ROH officials that he’s very excited to be
appearing once again in Philadelphia and even more so as part of the ROH on
HDNet television tapings. To that end, Cabana has requested, and been granted,
some open mic time to address the Philly faithful. There’s no telling what
tomfoolery will come out of Cabana’s mouth!
April 8th: In addition to “Lightning†Mike Quackenbush, we are happy to
announce that Jimmy Rave, Jimmy Jacobs, and the Dark City Fight Club will
appear in both Boston on May 8
th and Edison and May 9
th.
In addition, “The Last Of A Dying Breed†Eddie Kingston has signed, and will
appear in Edison on May 9
th! We’ll have more names as we move
forward!
