Negro Casas spoke about Averno’s challenge last week for a 3 way apuestas match involving them and Mistico to which Casas said that he had zero interest in because they are basically children and haven’t proven themselves to the fans to face someone of his stature and won’t until they humiliate him on a large stage. Negro did say though that he would love to have a caballera contra caballera match with Blue Panther saying that they are contemporaries and that he considers the two of them as the best in their profession. Negro said that BP is a great teacher that a match between them would be a great battle of strength vs. speed and he wants to have the opportunity to prove that his skill is better than BP’s.

Satanico stated over the weekend that he pities the new generation of wrestling fans that are basically being force fed today’s wrestling such as WWE & AAA because they have no respect for what wrestling is supposed to be. Satanico is especially irked by Konnan who has turned AAA into a carbon copy of the WWE and that is harming the tradition more than WWE because AAA is a Mexican promotion. Satanico said that there are places that still endorse true wrestling and he hopes they are successful because after being a wrestler for 36 years, he would hate to see the wrestling style that he fought for just go away.

Super Calo opened up his new office over the weekend where he announced that he has opened a booking office where he would supply talent including himself to various promoters across the country along with rings, seating, lights, & sound systems for shows. Calo announced that he already has Veneno, Septiembre Negro II, Enfermero Jr., Ultraman Jr., & Hijo del Anibal as well as Hijo del Santo if the promoter wants to spend the money to bring him in. Calo was asked if he would form his own promotion and he said that he is just booking right now and he doesn’t have nearly enough of everything he needs to open his own promotion. Calo said that his offices is open to all wrestlers as he wants to have a good sized stable of talent available for promoters that want to reserve dates and he thinks that wrestlers will want to work with him since he is still an active wrestler. Calo said though he only wants to do business with promoters that are legitimate because Mexico is having a problem right now with shady promoters who swindle the fans and wrestlers. Calo said that due to the economy and swine flu epidemic the prices for the talent are very reasonable and should please any promoter that wants to work with him. Calo also said that he is starting to train wrestlers along with his brothers Alan y Chris Stone and their father El Bello Greco also.
