AAA President Joaquin Roldan told Diario Record yesterday that it’s just a
matter of time before Dr. Wagner Jr. signs a contract with AAA and that
negotiations are still ongoing with hope that a deal can be reached in the next
week. Roldan said that once some details get ironed out then a deal would be
completed and as the swine flu took control of Mexico for the past couple of
weeks, it also impeded the negotiations with Wagner as AAA missed some important
dates that could’ve brought Wagner more money. Roldan said that Wagner signing
is key to their Triplemania plans since he is destined for a match against El
Mesias for the AAA Mega Heavyweight Title and if he decides to take another
booking for money then it would kill their plans so this is an important
situation that must be resolved.
