AAAAAAAND welcome back to Zach's This Week In Wrestling. Hope everyone out there in wrestling world is doing well and is excited for another week in wrestling. Let's get down to business my friends.
1. Frequent readers of the column have noticed I have called for it in recent weeks, and the New Hart Foundation has taken shape. Great, great debut for the crew. I like Striker's name of the Hart Trilogy for the group, like the name David Hart Smith, and I think ECW has a nice little group forming here. My only recommendation, I want to see a springboard Hart Attack rather than the normal jumping one. Just a personal stamp the group could put on the move, and we know Tyson has the leaping ability. Make it happen guys.
2. Any guesses for THE Brian Kendrick's tag partner? At the time, let's go with Eric Escobar, just cause we all keep reading that he along with Sheamus look to be the next two call-ups. I'd personally love a schwerve with London returning, but that's just me. And about a year ago, something very similar happened here. Dibiase said he had a tag partner to face Rhodes and Holly. Would Primo turn on Carlito and join up with Kendrick? Just a thought...
3. Can TNA use Bobby Lashley already? He hasn't spoken or touched a guy since entering the company. At least make him the special guest enforcer during the Sacrifice match or something like that. Jeez they could have signed me and they would have gotten the same exact result.
4. Loved the return of the Peep Show on ECW this week. I personally think each show should have a talk show on it. VIP Lounge on RAW, Peep Show on ECW, The Cutting Edge on Smackdown, and ..... The Dr. Stevie Show? C'mon TNA, you can pull something together. At least something better than the last time a interview segment was trotted out, Christian's chatting with the champ, at a time that he wasn't even the champ!
5. Love the possiblities of a Punk-Umaga feud on Smackdown, but this is the reason Umaga needs an interpreter. Why is Umaga attacking Punk? Umaga's not gonna grab a mic and spill his heart out. If he had a manager, he could explain Umaga's intentions and why he keeps attacking the straight edged superstar. Just something to consider.
6. So last week I told you all about Abyss' debut as Justice. And this week I found an equally awesome clip. Look up Diamond Dallas Page, Evad Sullivan, and Rabbit Stew. Won't be disappointed haha. Times like this I miss WCW.
7. Speaking of low rate wrestling, anyone else catch RAW this past week when Kelly Kelly and Jillian pulled a Monty Brown during their match. For those who forget, two times Monty was in a battle royal, missed his spot to be thrown over, and jumped over himself, leaving everyone in attendance scratching their heads. In this match last week, Kelly held down the rope, and Jillian dove right through. Gotta work on those cues divas, Finlay could not have been happy with that one.
8. So did Lethal Consequences turn heel on TNA last week when they tried to find out who was Suicide? Honestly I feel like Daniels is more of the heel here, as he's got this smugness about him when talking to Jay Lethal and Creed. Just goes back to my original theory on TNA. I know they say "Cross The Line." I say leave the line black and white, and have heels be heels and faces be faces. Stop complicating everything!
9. Let's put some Judgement Day predictions out there shall we? Christian retains, Umaga beats Punk, Edge retains, Jericho beats Mysterio, Big Show over Cena, and Orton retains as well.
10. With that Orton match for the record, I say HHH comes out at the end looking for revenge. Batista ends up attacking HHH, and we have a triple threat match set up for Extreme Rules with Orton, Tista, and HHH.
Well thanks for reading everyone. Send feedback to zachlevine86@gmail.com. Keep reading the good folks at pwinsider and I'll see ya'll next week.
