Mike Goldberg welcomes the viewers to the event and he briefly discusses today’s main event before introducing Joe Rogan, then they go over the rest of the card.

Fight #1 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight:

Marcus Davis (21-5-0) vs. Dan Hardy (21-6-0-1NC)

Referee: Marc Goddard

Round One

The round begins with Marcus Davis hitting Dan Hardy with a few body kicks, Marcus Davis then hits Dan Hardy with an overhand left before holding him against the cage wall. Marcus Davis then starts using some dirty boxing while keeping Dan Hardy along the cage wall, Marcus Davis uses a trip to takedown Dan Hardy before getting full mount. Dan Hardy then forces Marcus Davis into half guard, Marcus Davis then moves into the high guard of Dan Hardy before regaining back control. Marcus Davis then starts pelting Dan Hardy with rabbit punches to the face, the fighters stand back up and Dan Hardy hits Marcus Davis with two knee strikes and a right hook to the face. Marcus Davis uses a judo throw to put Dan Hardy down as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Marcus Davis hitting Dan Hardy with a body kick, Dan Hardy responds by hitting Marcus Davis with a leg kick. Marcus Davis throws a body kick at Dan Hardy and gets hit with a left to the face on the way in, both fighters then club each others with head punches. Dan Hardy then gets the clinch and he drops Marcus Davis with a knee to the head, Dan Hardy then goes into the guard of Marcus Davis. Marcus Davis applies the arm bar to Dan Hardy, but Dan Hardy stands up and eventually pulls his arm free from the submission. Dan Hardy goes back into Marcus Davis’s guard after escaping the arm bar, the referee stands the fighters up after inactivity. Dan Hardy then hits Marcus Davis with a knee strike to the body, Marcus Davis then hits Dan Hardy with a right to the face and a takedown as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Marcus Davis quickly dropping Dan Hardy with a left to the face, Marcus Davis then goes into the guard of Dan Hardy. Marcus Davis then connects on an elbow strike to Dan Hardy’s face, Marcus Davis then transitions to half guard on Dan Hardy. Marcus Davis attempts a foot lock on Dan Hardy and then a heel hook, but Dan Hardy escapes both as both fighters stand up. Marcus Davis then forces Dan Hardy against the cage wall, Dan Hardy uses a single leg takedown on Marcus Davis. Dan Hardy then hits Marcus Davis with an elbow to the face while in the guard, the referee stops the fight briefly to have the doctor check the cut on his face. The doctor clears everything and the action resumes with Dan Hardy in Marcus Davis’s guard, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity. Dan Hardy hits Marcus Davis with a left hook to the face, Marcus Davis forces Dan Hardy against the cage wall as the round concludes.

Fight Result: Dan Hardy def. Marcus Davis by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Post fight interview with Dan Hardy, who explains why he was playing mind games with Marcus Davis leading into the fight and then apologizes the fans for going to a decision.

Fight #2 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight:

Spencer Fisher (23-4-0) vs. Caol Uno (25-11-0-4NC)

Referee: Mario Yamasaki

Round One

The round begins with Spencer Fisher quickly hitting Caol Uno with a leg kick, Caol Uno quickly goes for a takedown and Spencer Fisher counters to gain control of his head. The fighters stand back up and Caol Uno forces Spencer Fisher against the cage, Spencer Fisher reverses the situation and he throws knees at Caol Uno. Caol Uno reverses things again and he hits Spencer Fisher with knee strikes, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity. Spencer Fisher then hits Caol Uno with a left to the head, Spencer Fisher then uses a quick leg kick to weaken Caol Uno. Spencer Fisher then connects on a left hook to Caol Uno, Spencer Fisher blocks a Caol Uno takedown attempt and then both fighters stand up. Spencer Fisher lands a knee strike on Caol Uno as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Spencer Fisher hitting Caol Uno with a leg kick and straight left to the face, Caol Uno then scores a takedown on Spencer Fisher. Spencer Fisher quickly stands up during a guillotine choke attempt by Caol Uno, Spencer Fisher then blocks a Caol Uno takedown and they quickly stand up. Caol Uno then hits Spencer Fisher with two leg kicks, Spencer Fisher then blocks another takedown attempt by Caol Uno. Spencer Fisher then pulls guard on Caol Uno, Spencer Fisher is able to force Caol Uno off of him and the fighters are standing again. The fighters scramble near the cage wall and Spencer Fisher hits Caol Uno with a knee to the chest, Caol Uno then scores a takedown on Spencer Fisher. Spencer Fisher quickly gets back up and Caol Uno holds him against the cage wall, Caol Uno then hits Spencer Fisher with a knee to the head. Caol Uno then pulls Spencer Fisher into his guard, the fighters stand back up and Spencer Fisher hits Caol Uno with a knee strike as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Caol Uno quickly forcing Spencer Fisher against the cage wall, Spencer Fisher then hits Caol Uno with an upper cut and left hook. Caol Uno fails to get a takedown on Spencer Fisher and he forces him against the cage wall again, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity. Caol Uno then hits Spencer Fisher with a leg kick before tripping and falling on the ground, Spencer Fisher then hits Caol Uno with a right hook. Caol Uno gets a brief takedown on Spencer Fisher, Spencer Fisher stands up quickly and hits Caol Uno with a knee to the chest. Caol Uno scores a takedown on Spencer Fisher and gets half guard, Caol Uno then uses ground and pound on Spencer Fisher as the round ends.

Fight #3 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight:

Mike Swick (13-2-0) vs. Ben Saunders (7-0-2)

Referee: Leon Roberts

Round One

The round begins with Mike Swick quickly taking Ben Saunders to the ground, Mike Swick is in Ben Saunders guard while throwing short punches to the head and body. Mike Swick then attempts to lock the guillotine choke on Ben Saunders and fails, Ben Saunders then hit’s a standing Mike Swick with an up kick. Mike Swick then jumps into the guard of Ben Saunders, the referee then stands up both fighters after a little bit of inactivity. Mike Swick then hits Ben Saunders with a knee strike and punching combination, Mike Swick then forces Ben Saunders against the cage wall. Ben Saunders reverses spots with Mike Swick before hitting him with knees to the body, Mike Swick throws foot stomps as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Ben Saunders throwing a few kicks at Mike Swick, Mike Swick quickly forces Ben Saunders against the cage wall. Mike Swicks gets a takedown on Ben Saunders and gets full mount, Ben Saunders then moves Mike Swick to butterfly guard while eating a few punches. Ben Saunders then forces Mike Swick into his guard, The referee stands both fighters up after a period of inactivity. Ben Saunders then hits Mike Swick with a leg kick, Mike Swick then hits Ben Saunders with a flurry of punches that drops him and referee Leon Roberts quickly halts the fight.

Fight Result: Mike Swick def. Ben Saunders by TKO via punches (3:47, R2)

Post fight interview with Mike Swick, who says Ben Saunders strength and height gave him some problems during the fight, Mike Swick then says he wants better fights in the UFC.

Fight #4 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight:

Mirko Cro Cop (24-6-2-1NC) vs. Mustapha Al-Turk (6-4-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Mustapha Al-Turk hitting Mirko Cro Cop with a left hook, Mustapha Al-Turk then hits Mirko Cro Cop with two leg kicks. Mirko Cro Cop then hits Mustapha Al-Turk with a straight right to the face, Mirko Cro Cop then assaults Mustapha Al-Turk with a ton of punches that eventually puts him on the ground. Mirko Cro Cop lets Mustapha Al-Turk stand up before hitting him with another punching combination and referee Dan Miragliotta stops the fight.

Fight Result: Mirko Cro Cop def. Mustapha Al-Turk by TKO via punches (3:06, R1)

Post fight interview with Mirko Cro Cop, who says that he feels good about his performance tonight, then he apologizes for accidentally poking Mustapha Al-Turk in the eye.

Fight #5 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight:

Cheick Kongo (24-4-1) vs. Cain Velasquez (5-0-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with both fighters throwing jabs and each other, Cheick Kongo then rocks Cain Velasquez with a punch before getting taken down. Cain Velasquez then gets control of Cheick Kongo’s back before getting side control, Cain Velasquez then transitions to full mount and then into back control on Cheick Kongo. Cain Velasquez locks in a rear naked choke on Cheick Kongo, who eventually breaks free and gets immediately taken down again by Cain Velasquez. Cain Velasquez then gets side control on Cheick Kongo before getting full mount, Cain Velasquez then gets back control again on Cheick Kongo. Cain Velasquez then starts nailing Cheick Kongo with punches while standing over him, Cain Velasquez then falls into back control on Cheick Kongo. Cain Velasquez starts assaulting Cheick Kongo with punches again, Cheick Kongo attempts to stand up and Cain Velasquez takes him down again and gets back control. Cain Velasquez continues to attacks Cheick Kongo with ground and pound, Cheick Kongo gets to his feet as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Cheick Kongo hitting Cain Velasquez with a straight right to the face, Cheick Kongo then forces Cain Velasquez against the cage wall. Cheick Kongo then hits Cain Velasquez with a knee to the chest, Cain Velasquez then takes Cheick Kongo down and gains back control. Cain Velasquez then starts using ground and pound on Cheick Kongo, Cain Velasquez then flattens out Cheick Kongo while using ground and pound. Cheick Kongo tries to stand up and he eats a few punches and knees for his effort, Cheick Kongo gets up and is quickly taken down again by Cain Velasquez. Cain Velasquez then regains back control and levels Cheick Kongo with punches and knee strikes, Cain Velasquez then drags Cheick Kongo around the canvas before hitting him with knee strikes to the body. Cain Velasquez then transitions to full mount on Cheick Kongo as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Cheick Kongo forcing Cain Velasquez against the cage wall before scoring a takedown, Cain Velasquez then reverses spots and gets back control on Cheick Kongo. Cain Velasquez then returns to using ground and pound on Cheick Kongo, Cain Velasquez then forces a downed Cheick Kongo against the cage wall while using ground and pound. Cheick Kongo is able to get back up and he hits Cain Velasquez with knee strikes to the chest, Cain Velasquez then scores a takedown after Cheick Kongo charged at him with punches. Cain Velasquez then transitions to side control on Cheick Kongo before gaining full mount, Cain Velasquez then returns to ground and pound on Cheick Kongo as the round ends.

Fight Result: Cain Velasquez def. Cheick Kongo by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Post fight interview with Cain Velasquez, who says that he could’ve done better tonight and then says he was rocked in the first two rounds by Cheick Kongo’s punches.

Main Event - UFC Catchweight Fight:

Rich Franklin (26-4-0-1NC) vs. Wanderlei Silva (32-9-1-1NC)

Round One

The round begins with Rich Franklin throwing weak jabs at Wanderlei Silva, Wanderlei Silva then hits Rich Franklin with a leg kick. Rich Franklin then hits Wanderlei Silva with a straight right and a body kick, Wanderlei Silva then launches a head kick at Rich Franklin. Wanderlei Silva then catches a Rich Franklin body kick and he puts Rich Franklin on the ground, Wanderlei Silva then goes into Rich Franklin’s guard. Wanderlei Silva then starts using ground and pound on Rich Franklin, the fighters stand back up and Rich Franklin quickly puts Wanderlei Silva on the ground. Rich Franklin gets full mount on Wanderlei Silva and both fighters quickly get back up, Rich Franklin then hit’s a straight left on Wanderlei Silva as the round ends.

Round Two

The round starts with Wanderlei Silva hitting Rich Franklin with a body kick and leg kick, both fighters then throw wild punches and kicks at each other. Wanderlei Silva then hits Rich Franklin with a right cross to the head, Rich Franklin recovers by hitting Wanderlei Silva with a body kick. Rich Franklin then briefly drops Wanderlei Silva with a jab, both fighters then hits each other with punches to the face. Rich Franklin then hits Wanderlei Silva with a body kick, Wanderlei Silva then hits Rich Franklin with right and left crosses to the head. Wanderlei Silva continued to connect on more punches until Rich Franklin shoved him away, both fighters throw wild punches as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with both fighters connecting on a flurry of punches, Rich Franklin then hits Wanderlei Silva with a left to the face. Wanderlei Silva then hits Rich Franklin with a weak leg kick, Rich Franklin then hits Wanderlei Silva with a right hook and body kick. Both fighters then start throwing an amazing amount of punches at each other, Wanderlei Silva then hits Rich Franklin with a knee strike and body kick. Rich Franklin then connects with a body kick on Wanderlei Silva, Wanderlei Silva charges at Rich Franklin and nails him with a series of punches. Rich Franklin then scores a takedown on Wanderlei Silva, they stand back up and Wanderlei Silva demolishes Rich Franklin’s face with back elbow strikes as the round concludes.

Fight Result: Rich Franklin def. Wanderlei Silva by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Post fight interview with Rich Franklin, who talks about recovering from his loss to Dan Handerson at UFC 93 and then he talks about Wanderlei Silva’s punching power. Rich Franklin then talks about cutting the weight for the fight before thanking everybody for helping him with the fight. Post fight interview with Wanderlei Silva, Wanderlei Silva puts over the crowd in Germany and talks about wanting to put a fight on for his fans. Wanderlei Silva then talks about cutting weight for the fans before thanking various folks for letting him fight today.

The submission of the night award goes to Terry Etim.
