Javier “Showtime†Vazquez (13-3-0) vs. Deividas Taurosevicius (10-3-0)
Javier Vazquez made his WEC debut a few months back at WEC 42 in August 2009, losing to LC Davis by split decision. The loss to LC Davis snapped a four fight winning streak for Javier Vazquez, who defeated UFC veteran Robert Emerson during the streak. Javier Vazquez is a longtime veteran of the King Of The Cage promotion, where he fought UFC veteran Alberto Crane in February 2003. Javier Vazquez will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with eight victories coming by way of submission. Deividas Taurosevicius will be making his WEC debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the now defunct International Fight League. While in the International Fight League, Deividas Taurosevicius fought the likes of Savant Young, Ryan Schultz and Bart Palaszewski. Early in his professional MMA career, Deividas Taurosevicius fought UFC veterans Frankie Edgar and Dan Lauzon. Deividas Taurosevicius will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with eight victories coming by way of submission.

Charlie Valencia (10-5-0) vs. Coty “Ox†Wheeler (10-1-0)
Charlie Valencia is a longtime veteran of WEC competition, with victories over Antonio Banuelos, Ian McCall and Seth Dikun, while suffering losses to Brian Bowles, Yoshiro Maeda and Dominick Cruz. Charlie Valencia has also spent some time in the King Of The Cage promotion, where he fought former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber. Charlie Valencia will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with five victories coming by submission. Coty Wheeler will be returning to the WEC after a year long absence, where he fought both Ian McCall and Del Hawkins in his first WEC run. Coty Wheeler went undefeated in the Fight World promotion, where he holds victories over Anthony Grisato, Caesar Rodriquez, Jeremy Kearby, Cody Bell and Ryan Axtel. Coty Wheeler began his MMA career in impressive fashion, with a six fight undefeated streak that lasted over a year. Coty Wheeler will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with eight victories coming by way of submission.

WEC Bantamweight Division Fight
Eddie Wineland (14-6-1) vs. Manny “The Mangler†Tapia (10-2-1)
Eddie Wineland has fought sporadically in the WEC, defeating Antonio Banuelos, while suffering losses to Chase Beebe and Rani Yahya. In fact, the fight against Chase Beebe at WEC 26 was to determine a WEC Bantamweight Champion, Chase Beebe won the fight via unanimous decision. Eddie Wineland has also competed internationally in the Shooto promotion, where he fought Mustafa Hussaini to a draw. Eddie Wineland is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with twelve victories coming by knockout and submission. Manny Tapia will be entering this fight on a two fight losing streak, but was once the top contender to the WEC Bantamweight Title. Thus far in the WEC, Manny Tapia has defeated Brandon Foxworth and Antonio Banuelos, while suffering losses to Miguel Angel Torres and Akitoshi Tamura. Manny Tapia also competed in the King Of The Cage promotion, where he went undefeated with nine fights in the promotion. Manny Tapia will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with four victories coming by knockout.

Waggney Fabiano (12-1-0) vs. Mackens “Mack Da Menace†Semerzier (3-0-0)
Waggney Fabiano has gone undefeated thus far in WEC competition, holding victories over both Akitoshi Tamura and Fredson Paixao. Waggney Fabiano also has a long run in the International Fight League, where he defeated Ian Loveland, Cam Ward, Erik Owings, John Gunderson, LC Davis and Shad Lierley. The lone loss in the career of Waggney Fabiano came to WEC/UFC veteran Jeff Curran at the APEX Night Of Champions event in October 2006. Waggney Fabiano will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with seven victories coming by way of submission. Mackens Semerzier is an undefeated fight who will be making his WEC debut in this fight, but made his professional MMA debut in 2008. Thus far in his career, Mackens Semerzier has achieved victories over Ryan Lamareaux, Justin Hickey and Jason Hillicker. Of his three career fights, none of them has gone to a decision for Mackens Semerzier, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. Mackens Semerzier will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with two of his victories coming by submission.

Scott Jorgensen (6-3-0) vs. Noah “The Red†Thomas (13-5-0)
Scott Jorgensen has had an interesting run in the WEC, with victories over Kenji Osawa and Frank Gomez, while suffering losses to Damacio Page and Antonio Banuelos. Scott Jorgensen has also competed in the Ring Of Fire promotion, where he won two of three fights in the promotion. Scott Jorgensen also fought once in the Elite XC promotion, where he defeated Chris David by unanimous decision. Scott Jorgensen will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with three victories coming by way of submission. Noah Thomas made his WEC debut at WEC 41 in June 2009, losing to Frank Gomez by way of submission. Noah Thomas was once a contestant on the UFC Ultimate Fighter, but left the show after frantic calls from his girlfriend caused him to leave the program. Of his eighteen professional fights, only one has gone to a decision for Noah Thomas, which speaks to his finishing abilities. Noah Thomas will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with nine victories coming by way of submission.

Anthony Njokuani (10-2-0) vs. Muhsin Corbbrey (7-3-0)
Anthony Njokuani has fought twice before in the WEC promotion, defeating Bart Palaszewski, while suffering a defeat to Benson Henderson. Anthony Njokuani is also a veteran of the Ultimate Texas Showdown promotion, where he defeated Devon Miller, Ira Boyd and Steven Bratland. This fight against Muhsin Corbbrey will mark the third time Anthony Njokuani has seen WEC competition in 2009. Anthony Njokuani will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with five victories coming by knockout. Muhsin Corbbrey will be making his WEC debut in this fight, but he was a longtime veteran of the Elite XC promotion. While in Elite XC, Muhsin Corbbrey defeated Lee Gibson and Bobby McMaster, while suffering a lone defeat to Nick Diaz. Also, early in his MMA career, Muhsin Corbbrey fought UFC veteran Jim Miller, whom he lost to by submission in August 2006. Muhsin Corbbrey will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with five victories coming by way of submission.
