Luke Riddering (2-0-0) vs. Rico Altamirano (2-2-0)
It has been well over a year since Luke Riddering last fought in a professional MMA fight, with both of his fights coming in the Elite XC promotion. While in the Elite XC promotion, Luke Riddering achieved victories over both Yasser Pezzat and John Corstorphine. Luke Riddering will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with all of his victories coming by knockout. Rico Altamirana made his professional MMA debut in April 2008, gaining a victory over Anthony Bivins. Rico Altamirano also fought UFC Ultimate Fighter 7 contestant Jesse Taylor, losing to him by way of submission. Rico Altamirano will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with half of his victories coming by way of knockout.
My Prediction: Luke Riddering
Strikeforce Featherweight Division Fight
Cole “Apache Kid†Escovedo (13-4-0) vs. Maurice Eazel (7-10-0)
Cole Escovedo will be making his Strikeforce debut in this fight, but he is a longtime veteran of the World Extreme Cagefighting promotion. While in the WEC, Cole Escovedo gained victories over Terry Dull, Paul Morris, Phillip Perez, Anthony Hamlett, Poppies Martinez and Joe Martin, while suffering defeats to Urijah Faber and Antonio Banuelos. Cole Escovedo will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with eight victories coming by way of submission. Maurice Eazel will be entering the fight with a losing record, but has already fought top MMA prospect Joseph Benavidez. Maurice Eazel also had an auspicious start to his MMA career, losing the first three fights of his career, a losing streak that lasted nearly a year. Maurice Eazel is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with four victories coming by knockout and submission.
My Prediction: Cole Escovedo
Strikeforce Lightweight Division Fight

It has been over three years since Casey Olson last fought in Strikeforce, where he defeated Bobby Sanchez by submission in 2006. Casey Olson is a well traveled MMA veteran that has competed in other top notch MMA promotions like Palace Fighting Championships and World Extreme Cagefighting. Casey Olson will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with four victories coming by way of submission. Chris Culley will be making his Strikeforce debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the King Of The Cage promotion. While in King Of The Cage, Chris Mulley defeated Kacey Roberts and Ernie Calma, while suffering defeats to Gunner Hinson, Andy Balmore and Brian Abram. Chris Culley will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with two victories coming by way of knockout.
My Prediction: Casey Olson
Strikeforce Lightweight Division Fight
Ben “The Teacher†Holscher (3-0-0) vs. Johnny Goh (1-1-0)
Ben Holscher has already fought once before in the Strikeforce promotion, defeating Cody Canterbury at the first Strikeforce Challengers Series event. The fight against Johnny Goh will mark the one year anniversary for Ben Holscher’s professional MMA career, which began last November. Ben Holscher is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with two victories coming by knockout and submission. Johnny Goh has fought all of his career fights in the Gladiator Challenge promotion, with his first career fight happening only eight months ago. Thus far in the Gladiator Challenge promotion, Johnny Goh defeated Tim Hausler, while suffering a defeat to Nick Reale. Johnny Goh will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with his lone victory coming by way of submission.
My Prediction: Ben Holscher
