George Sotiropoulos has also competed in the highly touted Shooto promotion, losing to top fighter Shinya Aoki. George Sotiropoulos will be entering the fight riding a four fight winning streak and hasn’t lost a fight in over three years. George Sotiropoulos will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with six victories coming by way of submission. Jason Dent has had a poor run in the UFC thus far, defeating Cameron Dollar, while suffering defeats to Roger Huerta and Gleison Tibau. Prior to his runs in the UFC, Jason Dent fought top MMA luminaries like Ryan Schultz and Jeff Curran, losing to both fighters. Jason Dent will also be entering the fight on a four fight winning streak, but hasn’t lost a fight in over two years. Jason Dent will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with fifteen victories coming by way of submission.

Caol “Uno Shoten†Uno (25-12-4) vs. Fabricio “Morango†Camoes (10-4-0)
Caol Uno has had an interesting run in the UFC, defeating Fabiano Iha, Din Thomas and Yves Edwards, while suffering losses to Jens Pulver, Spencer Fisher and BJ Penn. Caol Uno had a long run in the K-1 promotion, defeating UFC veterans like Rich Clementi and Ivan Manjibar. The bout against Spencer Fisher at UFC 99 marked a return to the UFC for Caol Uno after a six year absence, last competing at UFC 44. Caol Uno will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with thirteen victories coming by way of submission. Fabricio Camoes will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but has fought in other top promotions like Strikeforce and Elite XC. While in Elite XC and Strikeforce, Fabricio Camoes defeated Joe Camacho, Sam Morgan and Torrance Taylor. Before making his upcoming UFC debut at UFC 106, Fabricio Camoes fought UFC veteran Gleison Tibau at a Meca World Vale Tudo event. Fabricio Camoes will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with six victories coming by way of submission.

Brock Larson (26-3-0) vs. Brian Foster (12-4-0)
Brock Larson has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating Keita Nakamura, Jesse Sanders and Mike Pyle, while suffering losses to Jon Fitch and Mike Pierce. Brock Larson also had a very successful run the World Extreme Cagefighting promotion, defeating Erik Apple, Kevin Knabjian, John Alessio and Carlo Prater, while suffering a lone loss to Carlos Condit. Brock Larson started off his MMA career in successful fashion, with a twelve fight undefeated streak that lasted three years. Brock Larson will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with eighteen victories coming by way of submission. Brian Foster made his UFC debut at UFC 103, losing to Rick Story by submission with an arm triangle choke hold. Brian Foster is a longtime veteran of the Masters Of The Cage promotion, where he defeated Deric Harris, Jeff Davis and Steve Carl, while suffering defeats to Jeff Davis and Anthony Waldburger. Of his sixteen professional fights, none of ever gone to a decision, which speaks to the finishing abilities of Brian Foster. Brian Foster is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with all of his victories coming by knockout and submission.

Paulo Thiago (11-1-0) vs. Jacob “Christmas†Volkmann (9-0-0)
Paulo Thiago has had an interesting run in the UFC, defeating Josh Koscheck at UFC 95 and losing to Jon Fitch at UFC 100. Prior to suffering the loss to Jon Fitch at UFC 100, Paulo Thiago was on an eleven fight undefeated streak that lasted nearly four years. Paulo Thiago is also a veteran of the Jungle Fight promotion, where he defeated Leonardo Pecanha, Paulo Cavera, Ferrid Kheder and Luis Dutra. Paulo Thiago will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with seven victories coming by way of submission. Jacob Volkmann will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but has already competed in the highly touted Bellator Fighting Championships promotion. In his lone appearance in the Bellator Fighting Championships, Jacob Volkmann defeated Kevin Knabjian by submission. Jacob Volkmann is also a veteran of the Max Fights promotion, where he defeated Wayne Hajicek and Travis McCullough. Jacob Volkmann will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with six victories coming by way of submission.
