Coty “Ox†Wheeler (10-2-0) vs. Will Campuzano (6-1-0)
Coty Wheeler has had an somewhat poor run in the WEC thus far, defeating Del Hawkins, while suffering defeats to Ian McCall and Charlie Valencia. Coty Wheeler is a veteran of the Fightworld MMA promotion, where he defeated Anthony Grisato, Caesar Rodriquez, Jeremy Kearby, Cody Bell and Ryan Axtel. Until suffering the loss to Damacio Page at WEC 43, Will Campuzano was on a six fight undefeated streak that lasted over a year. Will Campuzano went undefeated in the Cage Kings promotion, where he defeated both Trevor Robbins, Jason Horak and Bryan Goldsby. Will Campuzano is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with five victories coming by both knockout and submission.
My Prediction: Coty Wheeler

Charlie Valencia (11-5-0) vs. Akitoshi “Ironman†Tamura (14-7-2)
Charlie Valencia has had a successful run in the WEC, defeating Antonio Banuelos, Ian McCall, Seth Dikun and Coty Wheeler, while suffering defeats to Brian Bowles, Yoshihoro Maeda and Dominick Cruz. Prior to entering the WEC in 2007, Charlie Valencia had fought former WEC Bantamweight Champions Urijah Faber and Chase Beebe in separate King Of The Cage events. Akitoshi Tamura has had an interesting run in the WEC, defeating Manny Tapia and suffering a defeat to Waggney Fabiano. Akitoshi Tamura has had a very long run in the Shooto promotion, where eighteen of his twenty three professional MMA fights occurred in. In fact, his fight against Wagnney Fabiano at WEC 37 marked the first time in Akitoshi Tamura’s eight year MMA career that he competed in North America. It has been over eight months since Akitoshi Tamura last had an MMA fight, so cage rust can become a factor in the fight. Akitoshi Tamura is a fighter known for taking fights the distance, with eight victories coming by way of decision.
My Prediction: Charlie Valencia
