The round begins with Matt Brown hitting Ricardo Almeida with a body kick, Ricardo Almeida then scores a takedown on Matt Brown and gets in the open guard. The round begins with Rory Markham hitting Nate Diaz with a leg kick, Nate Diaz then hits Rory Markham with a left. Joe Rogan interviews Dana White, who says that the Dan Hardy/Georges St. Pierre fight will be wicked and then says the winner of Frank Mir/Shane Carwin will fight Brock Lesnar next.

The round begins with Shane Carwin attacking Frank Mir with short punches, Shane Carwin then attacks Frank Mir with knee strikes to the leg.
