Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling presents "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday night, May 15th, 2010 at the 3-2 Count Athletic Training Facility in Freehold, NJ. If you never had the opportunity to witness ISPW live before, we showcase some of the hottest unsigned talent in the world today, along with several established stars that have made names for themselves in WWE, WCW, and ECW.
New ISPW World Heavyweight Champion Crowbar will be defending his title for the first time ever this Saturday night against his former best friend, five time ISPW World Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Main Event" Ace Darling. After Crowbar captured the ISPW title at ISPWMANIA, Darling came out and celebrated with his best friend. Darling then turned on Crowbar from out of no where and low blowed him.
After Darling turned on his best friend, he went on to talk about how hard it was for him to live in Crowbar's shadow for the past 18 years. He said he's a better wrestler, in better shape, and far more entertaining than him. Ace said for some reason though, Crowbar was the one to get the big WCW contract.
Darling will now have the chance to prove he's better then his former best friend and tag team partner at "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday night when he challenges him for the ISPW World Heavyweight Championship. Crowbar is looking for revenge and this match is going to be explosive. Will Darling back up his words and win the ISPW title for a record setting sixth time? Or will Crowbar prove to everyone, including his former best friend, that he is the new "King Pin" of ISPW? We will find out this Saturday.
ISPW will crown Tag Team Champions at "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday night when The Logan Brothers, The FBI (Nunzio and Tony Mamaluke), and "The King of The World" Danny Inferno and Judas Young collide in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.
The FBI are coming off a huge victory over The Logan Brothers at ISPWMANIA, ending their undefeated streak. Nunzio and Tony Mamaluke are no strangers to gold, as they are former ECW Tag Team Champions. The Logans, however, are possibly the hottest tag team in the world today and only lost their match to FBI after Big Vito interfered. The Logans are looking to revenge their loss and prove to FBI that they are the better team.
The addition of Danny Inferno and Judas Young to this match really makes this ISPW Tag Team Triple Threat Title Match interesting for Saturday. Inferno and Young are each other's hated rivals and have been feuding for over a year. New ISPW General Manager Ean Levy added them to this match to "shake things up" and give the ISPW fans a truly unique match. Inferno and Young are both very upset about having to team with each other and it will be very interesting to see what will take place this Saturday.
One thing is for sure, there will be new ISPW Tag Team Champions crowned at "Down With The Sickness" on May 15th in Freehold, NJ.
In yet another title match this Saturday night, the current ISPW Tri-State Champion Rob Eckos will put his title on the line against Chase Del Monte. At ISPWMANIA, Del Monte scored the biggest win of his career by defeating former WWF Tag Team Champion and former two-time ISPW World Champion Headshrinker Samu following a superkick. Del Monte is red hot right now in ISPW and promises the ISPW fans he is taking home the gold on Saturday.
Matt Borne debuted his new character "Reborne Again" at ISPWMANIA back in March. Originally he was scheduled to debut the character in his match against "Dirty" Dutch Mantell, but came out as Doink The Clown instead. Later in the show when Baby Hughie won his match against "Mr. Personality" Nicholas Nice in a Street Fight Match, Borne ran out as "Reborne Again" and destroyed the youngster. Smith James (the former Baby Hughie) has now challenged Matt Borne to a match at "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday. Has the young up start bit off more than he can chew? The veteran Matt Borne has stated that there couldn't be a better name for an event than this one. Borne says that no one in the history of professional wrestling is more down with the sickness than he is.
There will be a new number one contender determined for the ISPW World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday when former WCW/WWE veteran Big Vito collides with Rick Fuller. Big Vito is currently undefeated in ISPW and Fuller is coming off a huge victory by pinning Hugh Morrus at ISPWMANIA. This match promises to be a hard-hitting heavyweight showdown. The winner of this match will challenge either Crowbar or Ace Darling for the ISPW World Heavyweight Championship at Summer Rumble 2 on July 17th.
The Original WWE Diva Sunny has promised a surprise at "Down With The Sickness" on May 15th in Freehold, NJ. Sunny went to the new owner of ISPW, "Mr. Personality" Nicholas Nice and got this mystery wrestler signed to a ISPW contract. Nice is said to be very high on this wrestler for reasons he will reveal this Saturday night. We have no idea who it is, other then Sunny saying this wrestler has past history in ISPW and she's bringing him back on Saturday. Danny Inferno, who is currently managed by Sunny, is rumored to be not happy about the situation. Who is Sunny bringing back to ISPW at "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday? It remains a mystery, much like Sunny's mystery wrestler's opponent.
Danny Doring was originally scheduled to compete against Sunny's mystery wrestler this Saturday, but due to recently suffering a concussion, he will be unable to compete this Saturday night. New ISPW General Manager Ean Levy has signed a surprise replacement for Doring. The only hints that Levy has revealed is that this wrestler has held gold in both WWE and ECW! So this match will be very unique to say the very least, as no one has any idea who exactly will be in the match itself.
Speaking of "Mr. Personality" Nicholas Nice, he will be holding a "State of ISPW Address" this Saturday night. Nice has ordered the entire ISPW roster to come out to ringside so he can address them all as the new owner of the company. At ISPWMANIA, Tommy Fierro sold the company to Nice as he announced he was hired by World Wrestling Entertainment and could no longer run the day-to-day operations of ISPW. Since then, Fierro has already left WWE. Fierro will be in attendance at "Down With The Sickness" this Saturday night. It will be interesting to see if he intends to try and get back into the company he founded. What will Nice have in store for the ISPW fans and wrestlers as the new owner of the company? We will find out this Saturday night!
