THE LUCHA REPORT

By Kris Zellner on 6/3/2010 12:47 AM

NEWS

L.A. Par-K was asked yesterday about working Triplemania for the first time in over 14 years and he said that he has competed in way more important events and the only reason why he lowered himself to work here is to shut up the fake La Parka and to show everyone that he is the only one. Par-K said that Parka Jr. hasn't faced anyone really important like he has such as Sabu, The Sandman, or even Tank Abbott so he has nothing to say about how good he is. Par-K said that there are some idiot fans that thinks that he is the fake Parka which he attributes to them being new fans and being stupid meaning he doesn't care about them but the true fans know that he is the original and better one. Par-K admitted that he would love for the show to be a sellout to prove to AAA that he doesn't need their marketing machine to sellout an arena because he is a worldwide star that sells out wherever he goes and when he was main eventing in AAA in the glory days, Antonio Pena lived very well. Par-K was asked what kind of entrance will he have on the show and he said that he has some tricks up his sleeve that will please the fans. Par-K then talked about how he has been training hard for this match with his friend Erik "El Terrible" Morales where he has helped him lose weight along with working on his punching power and durability overall.  Par-K said that Dorian Roldan promised him that AAA wouldn't limit him in any way in that he could do what he wanted and work wherever he wanted which other promotions have tried to do so he thanks him for that. Par-K was asked about his future in AAA and he said that it's a wait and see after Triplemania as he would sit down with Dorian afterwards to determine if there will be any future business between them. Par-K was then asked about his son who is becoming a force on the independent scene and he said that his son is getting better as time goes along but he needs to gain some weight which he agrees with. Par-K told him that he gained weight when he met his mother because she fed him good so he needs to find a woman that can cook. Par-K then promised not to disappoint his fans and this would be a night to remember.

Satanico stated yesterday the situation regarding the Occidental Lt. Heavyweight Title being still vacant and he blamed the Box y Lucha Commission saying that they are the ones that make the rules or lack thereof. Satanico talked about how some fans were upset that no physical belt was at ringside but he said that there was a belt it was just that the commission had the belt and was going to award it to the winner. Satanico then promised that the rematch would be on Sunday and one of the previously scheduled matches would be bumped.

Trauma II stated yesterday that he and his brother Trauma I performed so well at the Dragonmania show at Arena Mexico last Saturday that the EMLL directors are showing interest in bringing them into the fold. He said that they have always wanted to compete at Arena Mexico because it is the most special arena in Mexico and that the fans there know what's good in lucha libre so when they won their approval it meant the world to them. He said that some fans knew of them already and were cheering them more than the normal EMLL guys that were competing on the show. Trauma II admitted though that he doubts that they will actually join the promotion as they are like their father in that they are independents and love being able to do what they want to do.

Ultimo Guerrero gave an interview over the past couple of days talking about a variety of subjects starting off with future challengers for his CMLL Heavyweight Title and said that he has heard through the media that Misterioso II has been challenging him. UG said that he respects Misterioso II as they are fellow Laguneros and he is on the rise but he thinks that hasn't proven himself quite yet to warrant a shot at the title. UG said that he must prove himself in matches against him personally to warrant a shot because he feels like is one of the best in the world with guys like Hector Garza, Jushin Thunder Liger, & Shocker falling to him. UG said that the CMLL Heavyweight Title has been very important over the years with guys like Cien Caras, Steel, & Rayo de Jalisco Jr. carrying the title proudly and speaking of Rayo, he wants to make a defense of the title against him because when you think of the CMLL Heavyweight Title, Rayo is one of the names that is the most associated with it. UG then brought up how Hiroshi Tanahashi was around for the last month and he said that he would love for him to come back and to defend against him because of his past as the IWGP Heavyweight champion which makes him one of the best in the world. UG then talked about the current invaders in EMLL saying that two of his best friends are on that side in Mr. Aguila & Olimpico but Olimpico specifically told him that he wasn't coming for him at all just that he was coming for the promotion in general so he isn't too worried about him but he has heard rumors of Dr. Wagner Jr. possibly coming back to be a part of this and he hopes it's true. UG said that he has some unfinished business with him and would love to have a mask match against him that's if he isn't a coward.
