On Sunday June 13th, the Empire Wrestling Federation came to Riverside, CA for a great show. The interaction between the workers and the fans in attendance was unbelieveable. It really felt like we were part of the show, which is a good feeling, very down to Earth atmosphere.
Liger Rivera, fresh off his big return and heel turn, was great in the opening bout. I loved the work from the heels the whole night, all of them were on top of their game with the interaction. Ray Rosas won the Cruiserweight Championship in a great match. Before it started, Brandon Parker said he wasn't going to defend his title, but Frank Mott of the NWA informed him if he didn't defend it that he would be fired.
One of the coolest things I love about the EWF is during intermission on the shows, for a small price, you can get in the ring and have photos taken with your favorite superstars like Slam Duncan, Ryan Taylor and more. A great night of wrestling for the whole family! Just overall it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait for the next time EWF comes around for some more awesome wrestling action.
