#12: Ross Pearson (UFC Record: 3-0-0) (UFC Ultimate Fighter 9 Co-Winner)
Along with UFC Ultimate Fighter 9 Co-Winner James Wilks, Ross Pearson showed that UK MMA can dominate the USA in the UK vs. USA themed season of the show. Ross Pearson has already defeated Andre Winner, Aaron Riley and Denis Siver in his current UFC run. Ross Pearson could potentially find himself in the same position that James Wilks could be in, being popular in the UK while struggling to gain popularity in North America. Ross Pearson could return at UFC 120,m which takes place in the UK and could possibly feature fellow countrymen Dan Hardy and Michael Bisping.
#11: Efrain Escudero (UFC Record: 3-1-0) (UFC Ultimate Fighter 8 Co-Winner)
Efrain Escudero came into the UFC at the perfect time for the promotion, as the UFC had just lost Roger Huerta and needed a new fighter for the Latin market. Efrain Escudero started off his UFC run with consecutive victories over both Phillipe Nover and Cole Miller. Efrain Escudero would then suffer a shocking defeat to Evan Dunham, but would rebound to defeat Dan Lauzon at UFC 114. Efrain Escudero is becoming the king of the “UFC Prelims On Spike TV†specials, with two of his four UFC fights happening on those specials.
#10: Kendall Grove (UFC Record: 6-4-0) (UFC Ultimate Fighter 3 Co-Winner)
Kendall Grove started off his run in the UFC with several impressive victories over Ed Herman, Chris Price and Alan Belcher. Following those victories, Kendall Grove hasn’t really found his groove in the UFC Middleweight Division, going three and four since his three fight win streak ended. Oddly enough, Kendall Grove was a part of Team Ortiz on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, as Tito Ortiz was a coach on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 11. Kendall Grove is set to return to the UFC at UFC 116, where he faces Goran Reljic in a preliminary card attraction.
#9: Ryan Bader (UFC Record: 4-0-0) (UFC Ultimate Fighter 8 Co-Winner)
Ryan Bader has thus far been a dominant fighter in his UFC run, defeating Vinny Magalhaes, Carmelo Marrero, Eric Schafer and Keith Jardine. In between his battles with Carmelo Marrera and Eric Schafer, Ryan Bader took a leave of absence from MMA competition to heal from a series of injuries. In his most recent fight, Ryan Bader defeated Keith Jardine at UFC 110 and is a few victories away from becoming a top contender in the UFC Light Heavyweight Division. As of this writing, Ryan Bader isn’t signed for any future UFC events, but it will only be a matter of time before he appears in the octagon again.
