Jon Madsen (5-0-0) vs. Karlos “The Terminator” Vemola (7-0-0)

Jon Madsen is currently undefeated in UFC competition with victories over both Justin Wren and Mostapha Al-Turk. Jon Madsen also competed in The Cage Inc. promotion, defeating Ryan Kotzea and Waylon Goldsmith. Prior to debuting in the UFC at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, Jon Madsen had a year plus layoff from active MMA competition. Jon Madsen will be entering the fight riding a five fight undefeated streak, which has lasted over two years. Jon Madsen will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with two victories coming by knockout. Karlos Vemola will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the Cage Fighting Championships promotion. While in the Cage Fighting Championships promotion, Karlos Vemola defeated Patric Carroll, Bill Georgitsis, Szilvester Silbont, Markus Hipp, Ashley Pollard and Stav Economou. Of his seven professional MMA fights, none have gone past the first round for Karlos Vemola, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. Karlos Vemola will be entering the fight riding a seven fight undefeated streak, which has lasted over two years. Karlos Vemola will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with four victories coming by way of submission.

My Prediction: Jon Madsen
