Hello, fellow Wrestling Fans! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Well, by request, I’m back, maybe for a column or two (maybe more, who knows?), to create more chaos. For those new to the Wringer, I bring my own version of wit, sarcasm, and criticism to WWE shows. For now, let’s stick to Raw.
So, without further ado, let’s get to Wringing!
* * *
How does anyone in WWE quietly do anything?
So Nexus doesn’t have any individual egos or agendas yet? Why not?
It only took one week for Team WWE to fracture?!
How did the term “WWE Universe†ever get so popular as to now get crowd pops?
Is the Anonymous GM (E-Mail Version) the most insipid, ridiculous and abysmally stupid idea ever?
And how did Cole get roped into reading all the e-mails? Wouldn’t putting them on the TitanTron, accompanied by an electronic voice reading them (preferably the one that voiced the WOPR) be infinitely better?
How does anyone on Team WWE expect a fair fight against anyone in Nexus?!
What happened to the concept of Nexus as rookies rebelling against WWE? Suddenly, they’re trying to recruit Khali?
And is this storyline going WAY too fast for anyone else?
OK, doesn’t WWE realize that when Cole/the Anonymous GM get groans/boos from the crowd, something’s really wrong with the idea?
Legendary – WWE’s attempt at “serious drama It looked okay, I guess, but, we’ll see.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World? How about Scott Pilgrim vs. the WWE Universe?
If the upcoming release starring the real “other guy†(Dwayne Johnson) is as good as the Ferrell-Wahlberg segment, don’t we have a really so-so movie coming out?
If Sheamas doesn’t actually “target the knee†of Orton at SummerSlam, how much of a idiot does that make Cole?

FINAL THOUGHTS:
I enjoyed the show
overall, with some exceptions. I
liked the Edge/Barrett match, until the non-finish.
The Nexus storyline is proceeding way too fast, especially the
“dissention†on the Team WWE side. Unless
the team is doing all this to psych out Nexus, they should have started this
storyline much earlier. I liked the
surprise appearance by Melina – she has been badly missed.
I like Sheamus’ character a lot – he has serious long-term potential,
if he can afford the injury track of some current (and past) stars.
I hope everyone has
enjoyed the return of the column, and I would value opinions on how my
“re-debut†turned out!
