Fight #1 - BFC Heavy Tournament Opening Round Fight
Eddie Sanchez (12-3-0) vs. Neil Grove (8-2-1)
Referee: Jorge Alonso
Round One
The round begins with Neil Grove quickly dropping Eddie Sanchez with a straight left to the head, Neil Grove then briefly attacks Eddie Sanchez with ground and pound. The fighters stand up and Neil Grove again drops Eddie Sanchez with punches, the fighters stand up again and Neil Grove hits Eddie Sanchez with three more punches to the head. Neil Grove then shoves Eddie Sanchez to the ground, the referee stops the fight after Eddie Sanchez takes a long time to get back to his feet after Neil Grove backed off.
Fight Result: Neil Grove def. Eddie Sanchez by TKO via referee stoppage (1:32, R1)
Post fight interview with Neil Grove, who says that Eddie Sanchez is a durable fighter and he knew that he would finish the fight.
Fight #2 - BFC Women's 115lb. Tournament Opening Round Fight
Carla Esparza (3-0-0) vs. Megumi Fujii (20-0-0)
Referee: Tony Waugh
Round One
The round begins with Megumi Fujii hitting Carla Esparza with a body kick, Megumi Fujii then hits Carla Esparza with a straight left. Carla Esparza then hits Megumi Fujii with two knee strikes to the body, both fighters then exchange a few leg kicks. Megumi Fujii then pulls the guard on Carla Esparza, the fighters stand up and Carla Esparza hits Megumi Fujii with a straight right. Megumi Fujii then trips Carla Esparza to put the fight on the ground, Megumi Fujii then postures up on Carla Esparza and hits her with a few punches. Megumi Fujii then goes into the closed guard of Carla Esparza, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Carla Esparza gets a takedown on Megumi Fujii as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Carla Esparza hitting Megumi Fujii with a few strikes to the head, Megumi Fujii then puts Carla Esparza on the ground. Carla Esparza then escapes a Megumi Fujii knee bar attempt, Megumi Fujii then locks Carla Esparza in an arm bar and a tap out follows.
Fight Result: Megumi Fujii def. Carla Esparza by submission via arm bar (0:57, R2)
Post fight interview with Megumi Fujii, who says that Carla Esparza is a strong fighter and the arm bar is her favorite move.

The round begins with Hector Lombard hitting Whisper Goodman with an overhand left, Hector Lombard then drops Whisper Goodman with a right and follows it up with ground and pound until the referee stops the fight.

Post fight interview with Hector Lombard, who thanks all of his fans in the arena tonight and then calls out Josh Barnett.
Fight #4 - BFC Women's 115lb. Tournament Opening Round Fight
Jessica Aguilar (8-3-0) vs. Lynn Alvarez (5-1-0)

Round One
The round begins with both fighters exchanging leg kicks, Jessica Aguilar then scores a takedown on Lynn Alvarez and gets half guard. Jessica Aguilar then moves to side control on Lynn Alvarez, Lynn Alvarez then catches a moving Jessica Aguilar back into the guard. Jessica Aguilar returns to the half guard on Lynn Alvarez, Jessica Aguilar then goes to side control on Lynn Alvarez. Jessica Aguilar then postures up before ending up in the guard of Lynn Alvarez, Jessica Aguilar returns to side control on Lynn Alvarez after landing a strike to the head. Jessica Aguilar then locks on the arm triangle and Lynn Alvarez taps out.
Fight Result: Jessica Aguilar def. Lynn Alvarez by submission via arm triangle (4:01, R1)
Post fight interview with Jessica Aguilar, who says it was great to win in her hometown and says it great to compete in the same tournament as Megumi Fujii.
Main Event - BFC Lightweight Division Fight

The round begins with Yves Edwards briefly dropping Luis Palomino with a leg kick, Yves Edwards then scores a takedown on Luis Palomino and gets in the guard. Yves Edwards then attacks Luis Palomino with some ground and pound, Yves Edwards moves to half guard on Luis Palomino. Yves Edwards then goes back to attacking Luis Palomino with ground and pound, Yves Edwards then moves to side control on Luis Palomino. Luis Palomino then forces Yves Edwards into the butterfly guard, Yves Edwards then gets himself back into the half guard on Luis Palomino. Yves Edwards then gets side control on Luis Palomino as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Luis Palomino hitting Yves Edwards with a left cross, both fighters then throw wild strikes at each other. Luis Palomino then hits Yves Edwards with a hard leg kick, Luis Palomino then blocks an Yves Edwards takedown attempt. Yves Edwards then rocks Luis Palomino with a head kick, Luis Palomino then scores an ugly takedown on Yves Edwards. The fighters stand up and Yves Edwards hits Luis Palomino with a few body punches, Luis Palomino then ends the round by missing a leaping spinning back kick.
Round Three
The round begins with Yves Edwards hitting Luis Palomino with multiple leg kicks, Luis Palomino then hits Yves Edwards with a flying knee strike. Yves Edwards then nails Luis Palomino with a body punch, Luis Palomino responds by hitting Yves Edwards with a body kick. Luis Palomino then connects with a leg kick on Yves Edwards, Luis Palomino then hit’s a charging Yves Edwards with a left. Yves Edwards then scores a takedown on Luis Palomino and gets in the guard, Yves Edwards then moves to side control on Luis Palomino. Luis Palomino then forces Yves Edwards back into the half guard as the round ends.
Fight Result: Yves Edwards def. Luis Palomino by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
