Nick Osipczak is also a veteran of the FX3 MMA promotion, defeating the duo of Brendan Flanagan and Nigel Whitear. Dan Miller also competed in the International Fight League, defeating Dave Phillips and Ryan McGivern. Prior to entering the UFC in late 2008, Dan Miller had fought top MMA fighters like Mike Massenzio and John Howard. Dan Miller will be entering the fight trying to end a three fight losing streak, which has lasted over a year. Dan Miller will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with seven victories coming by way of submission. John Salter has had an interesting run in the UFC, defeating Jason MacDonald and suffering a defeat to Gerald Harris. John Salter also competed in the Adrenaline MMA promotion, defeating Roberto Traven by knockout. Of his six professional MMA fights, none of John Salters fights ended via decision, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities.
