Fight #1 - BFC Welterweight Division Fight
Steve Carl (13-2-0) vs. Tyler Stinson (19-6-0)
Referee: Mike England
Round One
The round begins with Steve Carl hitting Tyler Stinson with a body kick, Steve Carl then scores a takedown on Tyler Stinson and gets in the guard. Steve Carl postures up and attacks Tyler Stinson with ground and pound, Steve Carl then escapes two triangle choke attempts from Tyler Stinson. The fighters get back to their feet and Steve Carl locks Tyler Stinson in a guillotine choke until he is unconscious and the referee stops the fight.
Fight Result: Steve Carl def. Tyler Stinson by submission via guillotine choke (2:30, R1)

Fight #2 - BFC Women’s 115lb. Division Tournament Opening Round Fight
Aisling Daly (9-0-0) vs. Lisa Ward (14-5-0)

Round One
The round begins with Aisling Daly catching Lisa Ward with a right, Lisa Ward uses a head and arm throw to get Aisling Daly on the ground and gets half guard. Lisa Ward then starts to attack Aisling Daly with ground and pound, Lisa Ward postures up and attacks Aisling Daly with tons of ground and pound. Lisa Ward then controls the head of Aisling Daly while pounding on her stomach area, Lisa Ward attempts an arm triangle choke on Aisling Daly as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Lisa Ward taking down Aisling Daly with a head and arm throw, Lisa Ward gets side control on Aisling Daly. The fighters get back to their feet and Aisling Daly hits Lisa Ward with a knee strike, Lisa Ward then catches Aisling Daly with a superwoman punch. Lisa Ward then scores a takedown on Aisling Daly and gets side control, Lisa Ward then gets full mount on Aisling Daly. Aisling Daly uses a reversal to get on top of Lisa Ward and in half guard, Aisling Daly gets the North/South position on Lisa Ward. Aisling Daly moves to side control on Lisa Ward, the fighters get back up as the round comes to an end.
Round Three
The round begins with Lisa Ward nailing Aisling Daly with a knee strike, Lisa Ward scores a takedown on Aisling Daly and gets half guard. Lisa Ward then attacks Aisling Daly with rabbit punches to the body, Lisa Ward then gets back control on Aisling Daly. Aisling Daly forces Lisa Ward back into the half guard while eating a few punches, Lisa Ward regains back control on Aisling Daly and holds it until the round concludes.
Fight Result: Lisa Ward def. Aisling Daly by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Jose Vega (8-3-0) vs. Danny Tims (9-2-1)

Round One
The round begins with both fighters swinging wildly at each other, Danny Tims then dropped Jose Vega with a right to the head. Jose Vega then scores a takedown on Danny Tims and gets the half guard, Jose Vega postures up to nail Danny Tims with two rights. Jose Vega then sparingly attacks Danny Tims with ground and pound, Jose Vega escapes a Danny Tims arm bar attempt to get the North/South position. Jose Vega moves to side control on Danny Tims, Danny Tims uses a scramble to get the fight back onto the feet. Jose Vega then drops Danny Tims with a left to the head, Danny Timms then nails an incoming Jose Vega with a right. Jose Vega scores a takedown on Danny Tims and gets in the half guard, Danny Tims reverses positions on Jose Vega as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Jose Vega peppering Danny Tims with several jabs, Danny Tims recovers by hitting Jose Vega with a push kick. Jose Vega then accidentally nails Danny Tims with a blow to the testicles and the fight is briefly halted, the fight resumes with Danny Tims assaulting Jose Vega with a ton of wild punches. Jose Vega then catches Danny Tims with a body kick, Jose Vega then catches an incoming Danny Tims with a counter right. Jose Vega then catches a tired Danny Tims with a leg kick, the fight goes to the ground where Jose Vega gets North/South position on Danny Tims. Jose Vega transitions to side control on Danny Tims, Jose Vega resumes the North/South position on Danny Tims. Jose Vega then returns to side control on Danny Tims as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Danny Tims hitting Jose Vega with a right, Danny Tims then accuses Jose Vega of hitting him with a low blow and the referee doesn’t believe him. Danny Tims then fails to score a takedown on Jose Vega, Jose Vega then attacks Danny Tims with several leg kicks. Jose Vega then catches Danny Tims with a low kick/punch combination, Danny Tims then nails Jose Vega with a push kick. Jose Vega then catches Danny Tims with a jab that knocks his mouthpiece out, Jose Vega then scores a takedown on Danny Tims and gets in the guard. Both fighters then attack each other while on the ground until the round ends.
Fight Result: Jose Vega def. Danny Tims by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28)
Post fight interview with Jose Vega, who says the fight was a lot tougher than he thought it would be and he looks forward to competing in the semi-finals.
Main Event - BFC Heavyweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Mike Hayes (13-3-1) vs. Alexey Oleinik (27-5-1)

Round One
The round begins with Alexey Oleinik hitting Mike Hayes with a few rights, Alexey Oleinik then pulls guard on Mike Hayes. The fighters go back to their feet and Alexey Oleinik hits Mike Hayes with a punch to the back, Alexey Oleinik then pulls guard again on Mike Hayes. Mike Hayes then starts attacking Alexey Oleinik with some ground and pound, Mike Hayes then gets back control on Alexey Oleinik. The fighters go back to their feet both fighters launch wild strikes at each other as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Mike Hayes hitting Alexey Oleinik with a few knee strikes, Mike Hayes then attacks Alexey Oleinik with foot stomps. Mike Hayes then scores a takedown on Alexey Oleinik and gets the full guard, Mike Hayes eventually moves to side control on Alexey Oleinik. Mike Hayes then attacks Alexey Oleinik with some light ground and pound, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Mike Hayes catches Alexey Oleinik with a left as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Alexey Oleinik peppering Mike Hayes with several lefts, Alexey Oleinik scores a takedown on Mike Hayes and gets half guard. The referee halts the fight to check the cut on Mike Hayes, the fight resumes with Alexey Oleinik in the half guard of Mike Hayes. Mike Hayes then forces Alexey Oleinik into the guard, Alexey Oleinik starts attacking Mike Hayes with some light ground and pound. Mike Hayes uses a sweep on Alexey Oleinik to put the fight on the feet, Alexey Oleinik then nails Mike Hayes with a right. Alexey Oleinik pulls guard on a bloody Mike Hayes, Mike Hayes then attacks Alexey Oleinik with hammer fists. Mike Hayes moves to the half guard on Alexey Oleinik, Alexey Oleinik then moves Mike Hayes into the guard.
