The show starts off with highlights from last weeks Bellator Fighting Championships 27 event, featuring Joe Warren defeating Joe Soto to win the BFC Featherweight Title.
Sean Wheelock welcomes the viewers to the event before introducing Jimmy Smith, both of them go over tonight’s card.
Fight #1 - BFC Featherweight Division Fight

The round begins with Anthony Leone catching Georgi Karakhanyan with a knee strike, Anthony Leone scores a takedown on Georgi Karakhanyan and gets guard. Anthony Leone escapes a Georgi Karakhanyan triangle choke attempt to get back control, Georgi Karakhanyan uses a scramble to get on top of Anthony Leone. Georgi Karakhanyan moves into the half guard on Anthony Leone, Anthony Leone uses a sweep to end up in the open guard of Georgi Karakhanyan. Anthony Leone moves to half guard on Georgi Karakhanyan, Anthony Leone then gets back control on Georgi Karakhanyan. Georgi Karakhanyan escapes and gets half guard on Anthony Leone, Georgi Karakhanyan gets head control on Anthony Leone. The round begins with Georgi Karakhanyan tripping Anthony Leone, Georgi Karakhanyan then rocks Anthony Leone with a few knee strikes to the body. Anthony Leone scores a takedown on Georgi Karakhanyan and gets the open guard, Georgi Karakhanyan uses a scramble to reverse positions on Anthony Leone. Georgi Karakhanyan moves to full mount on Anthony Leone, Anthony Leone forces Georgi Karakhanyan back into his guard. Georgi Karakhanyan attacks Anthony Leone with a little ground and pound, Georgi Karakhanyan gets back control on Anthony Leone. Georgi Karakhanyan moves back to half guard on Anthony Leone, Georgi Karakhanyan gets back control again on Anthony Leone as the round ends.

Eric Schambari then nails Matt Horwich with a two punch combination, Eric Schambari drags Matt Horwich to the ground. The fighters go back to their feet and Matt Horwich hits Eric Schambari with a leg kick, Matt Horwich then nails Eric Schambari with a few knee strikes. Round Two
The round begins with Eric Schambari scoring a quick takedown on Matt Horwich and gets half guard, the fighters go back to their feet and Eric Schambari hits Matt Horwich with a knee strike. Eric Schambari then attacks Matt Horwich’s legs with knee strikes, Eric Schambari then catches a charging Matt Horwich with a right. Matt Horwich then hits Eric Schambari with hammer fists as he attempts a takedown, Eric Schambari resumes attacking Matt Horwich with knee strikes to the leg as the round ends.

The round begins with Matt Horwich hitting Eric Schambari with a body kick, Eric Schambari then connects with a ton of punches to the head of Matt Horwich. Matt Horwich starts attacking Eric Schambari with leg kicks, Eric Schambari attempts to drags Matt Horwich to the ground. Eric Schambari scores a takedown on Matt Horwich and gets the open guard, Matt Horwich then moves Eric Schambari into the closed guard. The fighters go back to their feet until Eric Schambari scores another takedown on Matt Horwich and gets the guard, Matt Horwich then catches Eric Schambari with an up kick. Rich Clementi eventually locks Carey Vanier in the body triangle, Carey Vanier escapes and ends up in the guard of Rich Clementi. Carey Vanier postures up on Rich Clementi and hits him with a few strikes as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Carey Vanier hitting Rich Clementi with a leg kick, Rich Clementi responds by throwing a leg kick of his own. Carey Vanier attacks Rich Clementi with a body punch combination, Rich Clementi then nails Carey Vanier with a knee strike. Rich Clementi scores a takedown on Carey Vanier and gets back control, Carey Vanier scrambles to get in the guard of Rich Clementi. The fighters go back to their feet and Carey Vanier hits Rich Clementi with a knee strike, Rich Clementi messes up a takedown attempt and Carey Vanier ends up on top of him. Rich Clementi moves into the open guard of Carey Vanier, Carey Vanier scores a takedown on Rich Clementi and gets the closed guard as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Carey Vanier nailing Rich Clementi with a left, Carey Vanier gets Rich Clementi to the ground and attempts a guillotine choke. Carey Vanier gets back control for a short time on Rich Clementi, the fighters get back to their feet and Carey Vanier hits Rich Clementi with a knee strike. Eric Larkin then gets side control on Marcus Andrusia, Eric Larkin postures up and rocks Marcus Andrusia with a left to the face. Eric Larkin then starts attacking Marcus Andrusia with some violent ground and pound, Eric Larkin locks Marcus Andrusia in the guillotine choke again and a tap out follows.
Fight Result: Eric Larkin def. Marcus Andrusia by submission via guillotine choke (2:46, R1)
Post fight interview with Eric Larkin, who says he wasn’t prepared to use his striking and a coach told him earlier in the day to throw a head kick.
