UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Brian Foster (13-5-0) vs. Forrest “The Meat Cleaver” Petz (17-8-0)

Brian Foster has had an unsuccessful run in the UFC, defeating Brock Larson, while suffering defeats to Rick Story and Chris Lytle. Brian Foster also fought in the Masters Of The Cage promotion, defeating Deric Harris, Jeff Davis and Steve Carl, while suffering defeats to Jeff Davis and Anthony Waldburger. Of his eighteen professional MMA fights, none have gone to a decision for Brian Foster, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. Brian Foster also fought in the inaugural Shine Fights event, defeating Kyle Baker by knockout in the first round. Brian Foster will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with seven victories coming by knockout. Forrest Petz has had an unsuccessful run in the UFC, defeating Luigi Fioravanti, while suffering defeats to Marcus Davis, Kuniyoshi Hironaka, Josh Burkman and Daniel Roberts. Forrest Petz also competed in the Adrenaline MMA promotion, defeating both Brian Gassaway and Chad Reiner. This fight against Brian Foster will mark the third fight in four months for Forrest Petz, currently on a one fight losing streak. Forrest Petz also competed in the first ever Moosin MMA event, defeating Ralph Johnson by unanimous decision. Forrest Petz will be looking to use his striking skills to get the win, with seven victories coming by knockout.

My Prediction: Brian Foster

UFC Welterweight Division Fight

David “Daudi” Mitchell (11-0-0) vs. Anthony “TJ” Waldburger (12-5-0)

David Mitchell will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the Tachi Palace Fights promotion. While in Tachi Palace Fights, David Mitchell defeated War Machine, Bobby Green, Tim McKenzie and Poppies Martinez. Of his eleven professional MMA fights, only one has gone to a decision for David Mitchell, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. David Mitchell will be entering the fight riding an eleven fight undefeated streak, which has lasted over four years. David Mitchell will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with nine victories coming by way of submission. Anthony Waldburger will also be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the Shark Fights promotion. While in Shark Fights, Anthony Waldburger defeated both Shannon Ritch and Pat Healy, both in the year 2009. It has been over a year since Anthony Waldburger last competed in an MMA fight, so cage rust can become a factor in the fight. Anthony Waldburger will be entering the fight riding a three fight winning streak, which has lasted well over a year. Anthony Waldburger will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with ten victories coming by submission.

My Prediction: David Mitchell

UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Rich “The Raging Bull” Attonito (8-3-0) vs. Rafael “Sapo” Natal (12-2-0)

Rich Attonito is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Jamie Yager at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale. Rich Attonito also competed in the Mass Destruction promotion, defeating Mike Mitchell and Mark Raposa, while suffering a lone defeat to Mike Marshall. Dave Branch is currently winless in UFC competition, having suffered a defeat to Gerald Harris at UFC 116 this past Summer. Dave Branch also competed in the Bellator Fighting Championships, defeating both Dennis Olson and Derrick Mehmen. Of his seven professional MMA fights, none have gone to a decision for Dave Branch, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. Dave Branch started off his MMA career in impressive fashion, with a six fight undefeated streak that had lasted over two years. Dave Branch is a fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight ends up, with six victories coming by submission and knockout. Tomasz Drwal has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating Ivan Serati, Mike Ciesnolevicz and Drew McFedries, while suffering defeats to Thiago Silva and Rousimar Palhares. Prior to entering the UFC in late 2007, Tomasz Drwal defeated UFC veteran Lucio Linhares at a The Cage event. Tomasz Drwal was involved in a bit of controversy in his last MMA fight, as opponent Rousimar Palhares took his time releasing a heel hook well after Tomasz Drwal taped out. Tomasz Drwal will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with ten victories coming by knockout.

My Prediction: Tomasz Drwal

Kyle Kingsbury will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with three victories coming by knockout.

My Prediction: Jared Hamman
