JUNGLE FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNING TO ESPN DEPORTES

Jungle Fight Championship Returns to ESPN Deportes Live on Saturday, September 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET

Jungle 22 Event to Feature Eduardo Pamplona & Edilberto de Oliveira and 70 KG Title Fight Finals

 

ESPN Deportes, ESPN’s Spanish-language network in the U.S., will offer exclusive live coverage of the Jungle Fight this Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. EST. The event will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the breeding ground for some of the best MMA talent.

 

The coverage will feature seven bouts including one low kicks kickboxing, and the 70 KG Title Fight semifinal and finals. The event will also present one of the most anticipated fights, IFL veteran Eduardo Pamplona against UFC veteran Edilberto Oliveira. In addition, the Jungle 22 event will feature the 70 KG title fight finals as four of the top 70 KG fighters seek to win the Jungle Fight Title. To define the finals, Brazilian prospect Francisco “Massaranduba” Trinaldo hopes to stop Brazilian Yuri “Marajó” Alcantara’s eight-fight win streak, while Peru’s Manuelo Morales takes on Mexican Rodolfo “Fito” Rubio

-          Edilberto “Crocotá” Oliveira (14-4-1) vs. Eduardo Pamplona (12-2)

-          Augusto “Dogers” Montaño (8-0-0) vs. Edvaldo “Gameth” De Oliveira (9-6-0)

-          Johil de Oliveira (14-13-1) vs. Alessandro “Zóio” Ferreira (7-0)

-          Francisco “Massaranduba” Trinaldo (6-0) vs. Yuri “Marajó” Alcantara (30-3)  

70 KG Tittle Fight Semi-Final:

-          Manuelo Morales (8-1) vs. Rodolfo “Fito” Rubio Peres (7-3-1)
