CB Dollaway also competed in the HDNet Fights promotion, defeating Hans Marrero by way of submission. CB Dollaway will be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which has lasted over a year. CB Dollaway will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with five victories coming by knockout. Joe Doerkson has had an unsuccessful run in the UFC, defeating Patrick Cote and Tom Lawlor, while suffering defeats to Joe Riggs, Matt Lindland, Nate Marquardt and Ed Herman. Joe Doerkson has also been competing in the Sengoku promotion, defeating both Izuru Takeuchi and Takenori Sato.
