Claude “The Prince” Patrick (12-1-0) vs. James “Lightning” Wilks (7-3-0)

Claude Patrick is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Ricardo Funch at UFC 115 in June 2010. Claude Patrick also competed once in the International Fight League, defeating Ray Steinbeiss by submission in the opening round. Prior to entering the UFC in mid-2010, Claude Patrick had competed against UFC veteran Drew McFedries at an Ultimate Combat Championships event. Claude Patrick will be entering the fight riding an eleven fight winning streak, which has lasted over five years. Claude Patrick will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with nine victories coming by submission. James Wilks has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating DaMarques Johnson and Peter Sobotta, while suffering a lone defeat to Matt Brown. James Wilks was one of two winners of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 9, with the other winner being Ross Pearson. James Wilks also competed in the King Of The Cage promotion, defeating Ray Lizama and suffering a defeat to Jimmy Smith. James Wilks is currently undefeated in 2010, with a victory over Peter Sobotta at UFC 115 in June 2010. Travis “Hapa” Brown (10-0-0) vs. Cheick Kongo (15-6-1)

Travis Browne is currently undefeated in UFC competition, with a victory over James McSweeney at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale. Travis Browne is also a veteran of the Gladiator Challenge promotion, defeating Sergio Calderon, Matt Anderson, Matt Campbell and Aaron Brink. Of his ten professional MMA fights, only one has gone to a decision for Travis Browne, which speaks to the fighters finishing abilities. Travis Browne will be entering the fight riding a ten fight undefeated streak, which has lasted well over a year. Travis Browne will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with eight victories coming by knockout. John “The Hitman” Hathaway (14-0-0) vs. Mike “Quicksand” Pyle (19-7-1)

John Hathaway is currently undefeated in UFC competition, achieving victories over Tom Egan, Rick Story, Paul Taylor and Diego Sanchez. John Hathaway also competed in the Cage Rage promotion, defeating Sergei Ussanov, Tarcio Santana, Charles Barbosa, Tommy Maguire, Marvin Arnold Bleau and Jack Mason. Prior to becoming a professional MMA fighter, John Hathaway was a professional rugby player throughout Europe. John Hathaway will be entering the fight riding a fourteen fight undefeated streak, which has lasted over four years. John Hathaway will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with five victories coming by knockout. Mike Pyle has had an interesting run in the UFC, defeating Chris Wilson and Jesse Lennox, while suffering defeats to Brock Larson and Jake Ellenberger. Mike Pyle also competed in the World Extreme Cagefighting promotion, defeating both Bret Bergmark and Shonie Carter. Mike Pyle also starred in the movie “Universal Soldier: Regeneration”, alongside Jean Claude Van Dam, Dolph Lundgeron and Andrei Arlovski. Mike Pyle will be entering the fight trying to get his first two fight win streak in over two years, since 2008. Mike Pyle will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with seventeen victories coming by way of submission.

“The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit (25-5-0) vs. Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy (23-7-0)

Carlos Condit has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating Jake Ellenberger and Rory MacDonald, while suffering a lone defeat to Martin Kampmann. Carlos Condit was also the final World Extreme Cagefighting Welterweight Champion, as the division was eliminated a few years back. Also in WEC competition, Carlos Condit defeated Kyle Jensen, John Alessio, Brock Larson, Carlo Prater and Hiromitsu Miura. Carlos Condit will be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which has lasted over a full year. Carlos Condit will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with thirteen victories coming by way of submission. Dan Hardy has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating Akihiro Gono, Rory Markham, Marcus Davis and Mike Swick, while suffering a lone defeat to Georges St. Pierre. Dan Hardy recently challenged for the UFC Welterweight Title, losing to current champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 111 in March 2010. Dan Hardy also competed in the Cage Warriors Fighting Championships, defeating Matt Thorpe, Diego Gonzales, Danny Rushton, Alexandre Izidro, Willy Ni, Manuel Garcia and Chad Reiner. Dan Hardy is currently winless in 2010, having suffered the aforementioned defeat to Georges St. Pierre at UFC 111. Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama (13-2-0) vs. Michael “The Count” Bisping (19-3-0) Yoshihiro Akiyama has had an interesting run in the UFC, defeating Alan Belcher and suffering a defeat to Chris Leben. Yoshihiro Akiyama is a longtime veteran of the K-1 promotion, defeating Francois Botha, Carl Toomey, Michael Lerma, Masakatsu Okuda, Tokimitsu Ishizawa, Katsuhiko Nagata, Taiei Kin, Kestutis Smirnovas, Melvin Manhoef and Denis Kang, while suffering a lone defeat to Jerome LaBanner. Prior to suffering the loss to Chris Leben at UFC 116, Yoshihiro Akiyama was on a twelve fight winning streak that had lasted over four years. Yoshihiro Akiyama is currently winless in 2010, suffering the aforementioned defeat to Chris Leben at UFC 116. Yoshihiro Akiyama will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with seven victories coming by submission. Michael Bisping has had a successful run in the UFC, defeating Josh Haynes, Eric Schafer, Elvis Sinosic, Matt Hamill, Charles McCarthy, Jason Day, Chris Leben, Denis Kang and Dan Miller, while suffering defeats to Rashad Evans, Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva.
