Dominic Clark (3-0-0) vs. David “Tarzan†Douglas (4-2-0)
Dominic Clark will be making his Strikeforce debut in this fight, but he has competed in The Warriors Cage promotion. While in The Warriors Cage, Dominic Clark achieved victories over both Mike Conzachi and John Moore. Dominic Clark will be entering the fight riding a three fight undefeated streak, which has lasted over nine months. Dominic Clark also fought in the Pure Combat promotion, where he defeated Rafael Urena by submission. Dominic Clark will be looking to put the fight on the ground, with two victories coming by way of submission. David Douglas is currently winless in the Strikeforce promotion, suffering a defeat to Justin Wilcox at Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg. David Douglas also competed in the Elite XC promotion, defeating Marlon Matias, William Jacobson and Mongkhon Wiwasuk. It has been well over a year since David Douglas last competed in a professional MMA fight, so cage rust can become a factor in the fight. David Douglas will be looking to stop a one fight losing streak, which begun at the Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg event. David Douglas will be looking to use his striking skills to win the fight, with all of his victories coming by knockout.
