PREVIEWING CHIKARA'S RETURN TO THE ECW ARENA - 'THE GERMANS'

Chikara presents The Germans
November 21, 2010 at the The Asylum Arena (the former ECW Arena, the former New Alhambra, the former Arena) in Philadelphia, PA. Belltime: 4 PM
For the final Philadelphia show of Season Nine, Chikara is sure to pull out all stops. Building off the success of Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Show in July, Chikara returns to South Philly to end on a bang.
Eddie Kingston vs. Homicide
Eddie Kingston is on a warpath. The War King wants to destroy BDK collectively and Claudio Castagnoli particularly. On his way to getting to Castagnoli, Director of Fun Dieter VonSteigerwalt has been putting impressive obstacles in front of Kingston: Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Tommy Dreamer, and the rest of the BDK. Whether he knows it or not, Homicide—the Director of Fun’s promised dangerous competitor—has to be a hand-chosen stumbling block.
The Unstable (Stigma and Vin Gerard) vs. The Olsen Twins (Jimmy Olsen and Colin Delaney Olsen)
Colin Delaney finally had enough of the UnStable at Chikara’s Brooklyn debut in September and reunited with his baby brother, the former Equinox. This is a rematch from their first showdown in Connecticut, which The Unstable won, but The Olsen Twins still think (and want to prove) they’re the better team.
Four Corner Elimination Tag Team Match
Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze, representing the BDK vs. FIST (Icarus and Chuck Taylor) vs. ??? vs. ???
It looks like the ladies of the BDK will get a dose of their own medicine. For months, members of the BDK have faced any tag teams with two points in attempts to stop them from getting the three points needed to challenge from the Campeonatos de Parejas. Now, Del Rey and Haze have three points. In theory, they should be challenging for the titles, but as stated in a recent video update, they are merely soldiers protecting the reign of Claudio Castagnoli and Ares. FIST is on a roll since turning on Gran Akuma and inducting Johnny Gargano into their ranks. They want to take back the Campeonatos de Parejas and can earn that shot with an impressive showing in this match.
Soldier Ant vs. Pink Ant
Last November, Carpenter Ant was revealed to be a traitor within The Colony with Pinkie Sanchez unmasked as a member of BDK. Sanchez, calling himself Pink Ant, has been able to defeat his former teammates, Green Ant in January and Fire Ant in May. Now, we have a rematch of the finals of Cibernetico Increible from 2009, which Pinkie won as Carpenter Ant. Can Soldier Ant defeat the traitor or will Pink Ant have victories over all of the Colony?
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Ultramantis Black vs. Ares
With the emergence of the BDK, two members of the Chikara roster have particular axes to grind and scores to settle: Eddie Kingston and Ultramantis Black. Kingston won’t be satisfied until he destroys Claudio Castagnoli, and Ultramantis Black wants to remove Ares from Chikara completely. In November, Ultramantis Black gets his opportunity to take on Ares one-on-one with the Arena as a weapon. Ares has taken UMB’s former partner, Delirious, and turned him into a pet. Delirious, under orders from Ares, injured UMB’s henchman, Crossbones, and put him out of action. He stands alone, fighting for Chikara’s honor against the leader of the Bruderschaft. They met one-on-one in Massachusetts in May where Ares got the win, but Ultramantis Black is out to win the war.
