UFC 126: SILVA VS. BELFORT FACEBOOK.COM FIGHT PREVIEW

The UFC will be making two important returns on Saturday Night, as the prelims will return to Spike TV as well as Facebook. This will mark the second time that the UFC airs fights on Facebook, as four fights from UFC Fights For The Troops II aired on the social media site. This time, one fight will air on the website and it features the UFC debut of a highly touted international star. The fight will begin at 8pm EST. on the UFC Facebook page, just click the “like” button to see all of the action.

The fight on Facebook.com is a bantamweight encounter as Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson (7-1-0) takes on Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto (18-3-0). This fights is also the UFC debut of Demetrious Johnson, who has previously competed in the WEC, winning two of three in the promotion. In his final WEC appearance at WEC 52, Demetrious Johnson defeated Damacio Page by submission. Norifumi Yamamoto is coming off a legendary run in the K-1 promotion, where he won eleven fights in a row. Norifumi Yamamoto most recently competed in the DREAM promotion, where he dropped a fight to the highly touted Joe Warren. This fight is a classic striker vs. grappler battle, this time the striker in Norifumi Yamamoto will plaster Demetrious Johnson on route to a victory.
