UFC 127: PENN VS. FITCH FACEBOOK.COM PREVIEW

The most popular social networking website will get its third taste of UFC action on Saturday Night, featuring two key fights. These two fights will feature a WEC veteran making his UFC debut and a heavyweight fighter needing a big victory. Just as a reminder for those looking to tune into the fights, they will begin on Facebook.com at 8pm EST.

Kicking off the streaming action will be a heavyweight encounter as Tom Blackledge (10-6-0) takes on Anthony “The Hippo” Perosh (10-6-0). Tom Blackledge enters the UFC after winning two straight in the M-1 Challenge promotion, with the victories over Tatsuya Mizuno and Enoc Solves Torres. Anthony Perosh has lost three straight fights in the UFC, which are all spread out over the last four years. Tom Blackledge will have a successful UFC debut as he should be able to knockout “The Hippo” from the UFC.

Headlining this online card is a lightweight fight as Jason Reinhardt (20-1-0) takes on WEC veteran Tiequan “The Mongolian Wolf” Zhang (12-1-0). The lone loss in the professional MMA career of Jason Reinhardt came to Joe Lauzon at UFC 78 in November 2007. Tiequan Zhang split his two fights in the UFC, notably losing to Danny Downes in the final WEC event in the company’s history. Jason Reinhardt’s wrestling abilities will help guide the fighter to a victory over the rising Chinese fighter.
