Despite a change in the main event, the Bellator Fighting Championships coming roaring into Oklahoma this Saturday Night. The card will be headlined by two semi-final fights in the Bellator Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Tournament. The preliminary card must take place first though and it will feature the return of a Bellator Fighting Championships veteran.

A pair of heavyweights will be kicking off the evening as Chris Guillen (13-12-0) goes to battle with Mark Holata (10-2-0). Chris Guillen will be entering the fight trying to end a five fight losing streak, with notable losses to Ricco Rodriquez and Ben Rothwell. Mark Holata is a veteran of the Bellator Fighting Championships, as he defeated Shawn Jordan at BFC 31. Chris Guillen is desperately in need of a victory in this fight, but he will not be getting it against Mark Holata.

The bantamweights will be stepping into the cage next as Shane Howell (8-7-0) takes on Mark Oshiro (12-3-0). Shane Howell recently returned to the Freestyle Cage Fighting promotion after a two year absence, defeating Tony Quintero. Mark Oshiro had an undefeated run in the Elite XC promotion with victories over Nui Wheeler, Chris Cariaso and Chris Willems. Shane Howell took this fight on two weeks’ notice, which is going to cost him the fight to Mark Oshiro due to lack of preparation time.

Middleweight contenders are going to face off next as Chris “Triple Threat” Bell (10-3-0) faces Jared Hess (10-2-1). Chris Bell enters the fight trying to halt a two fight losing streak, but does hold a victory over longtime UFC veteran Matt Brown. Jared Hess has participated in two Bellator Middleweight Tournaments, making it to the finals and semi-finals respectively. This fight could essentially become the show stealer, which Jared Hess is going to win with his superior ground skills.

Headlining the preliminary card is a featherweight encounter as Owen Evinger (6-0-0) takes on Brandon Shelton (16-5-0). Owen Evinger has primarily fought in the True Fight Fans promotion, where five of his six MMA victories took place at. Brandon Shelton is currently undefeated in the Bellator Fighting Championships promotion, defeating Adam Snook at BFC 37. Owen Evinger has racked up an impressive undefeated streak, but it will come to an end at the hands of Brandon Shelton.
