UFC 130: RAMPAGE VS. HAMILL FACEBOOK CARD PREVIEW

For the second straight UFC pay-per-view offering, all of the fights will be available and the first portion of the event occurs on Facebook. Not to be deterred, the Facebook card features a couple of top rated fighters like Gleison Tibau and Cole Escovedo. The action kicks off at approximately 6pm EST. on Saturday Night, just hit the “like” button on the official UFC Facebook page.

Kicking off the action is a bantamweight encounter as Renan “Berao” Do Nascimento Mota Pegado (25-1-0) faces Cole “Apache Kid” Escovedo (17-6-0). Renan Do Nascimento Mota Pegado enters the fight riding a twenty five fight winning streak, with two wins coming in the WEC. Cole Escovedo is a former WEC Featherweight Champion who is coming off a win in the Showdown Fights promotion. While Cole Escovedo was once a top rated fighter, his days are numbered with Renan Do Nascimento Mota Pegado taking the victory.

Up next is another bantamweight fight as Chris “Kamikaze” Cariaso (11-2-0) takes on Michael “Mayday” McDonald (12-1-0). Chris Cariaso is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Will Campuzano at UFC Fights For The Troop 2. Michael McDonald is also undefeated in UFC competition, achieving a victory over Edwin Figueroa at UFC Ultimate Fight Night 24. Despite both fighters having a similar record, Michael McDonald has more big fight experience and he will get the victory.

Headlining this portion of the card is a lightweight fight as Rafaello “Tractor” Oliveira (14-3-0) takes on Gleison Tibau (22-7-0). Rafaello Oliveira enters the fight riding a four fight undefeated streak, including a victory over respected veteran Bendy Casimir. Gleison Tibau has been competing in the UFC for nearly four years and is coming off a win over Kurt Pellegrino at UFC 128. This should be an interesting fight on the ground, but it will be a fight won by the much stronger Gleison Tibau.
