Kicking of this section of the card is a lightweight division encounter as Rafael Dos Anjos (14-5-0) takes on George Sotiropoulos (14-3-0). Rafael Dos Anjos hasn’t fought since a loss to Clay Guida at UFC 117, due to suffering a broken jaw in the fight. George Sotiropoulos is coming off his first loss in the UFC, a loss that ended an eight fight winning streak for the fighter. The majority of this fight will be taking place on the ground, but it will be George Sotiropoulos picking up the win.
Headlining this portion of the card is another lightweight division fight as Melvin “The Young Assassin†Guillard (28-8-2) faces Shane Roller (10-3-0). Melvin Guillard enters the fight riding a four fighting winning streak, most recently defeating Evan Dunham at UFC Fights For The Troops II. Shane Roller is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Thiago Tavares at UFC On Versus III. This fight should be nothing short of a good brawl, but I see Melvin Guillard keeping the winning streak alive.
