Welcome to the PWInsiderXtra.com live coverage of the UFC On Fuel TV I Preliminary Card, live from the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.

Fight #1 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Bernardo Magalhaes (11-1-0) vs. Tim Means (16-3-1)

Referee: Bo Nesslein

Round One

The round begins with Magalhaes testing Means early with some leg kicks, Magalhaes then starts connecting on some serious kicks on the lead leg of Means. Magalhaes then goes for a takedown and Means clobbers him with a knee strike, the fighters exchange several strikes with Means getting the edge. Means then continues to land several knee strikes on Magalhaes, Magalhaes responds by rocking Means with a wild right. Means then drops Magalhaes with another knee strike and he follows it up with ground and pound, Means then goes for a choke and Magalhaes escapes. The fighters then stand back up and Means charges at Magalhaes while throwing punches, Means then starts attacking Magalhaes with leg kicks as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Magalhaes catching Means leg during a kick attempt, Means then catches an incoming Magalhaes with a left. Magalhaes then catches Means with a three punch combination, Means then dazes Magalhaes with a left uppercut. Magalhaes then pops Means with a left cross before going for a takedown, Means escapes the takedown attempt and he catches Magalhaes with a few elbow strikes. Means then closes the distance on Magalhaes before landing a knee strike, Magalhaes then barely misses a wild right and wild left on Means. Magalhaes then catches Means with a kick to the rib cage, Means responds by catching Magalhaes with a liver strike as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Means peppering Magalhaes with a lot of jabs, Means then starts landing a few strikes to the midsection of Magalhaes. Magalhaes then goes for a takedown and Means easily avoids it, Magalhaes then goes for a single leg and he eats a few hammer fists for the effort. Means then catches Magalhaes with a body shot that briefly drops him, Magalhaes then catches Means with a wild right to the face. Magalhaes then goes for yet another takedown and he gets destroyed with Means elbow strikes, Means then tries to hit the moving Magalhaes with a head kick. Magalhaes then lands a right on Means before eating a knee strike as the round ends.

Fight Result: Tim Means def. Bernardo Magalhaes by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26)

Fight #2 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Anton Kuivanen (16-4-0) vs. Justin Salas (9-3-0)

Referee: Mark Powell

Round One

The round begins with Salas immediately grabbing hold of Kuivanen before eating a knee strike, Kuivanen then goes for a head kick on Salas. Kuivanen then catches Salas with a kick to the upper body, Kuivanen then nails Salas with a knee strike to the ribs. Salas then catches a charging Kuivanen with a short right, Salas then scores a takedown on Kuivanen and he gets the butterfly guard. Salas quickly postures up to attack Kuivanen with a few strikes. Kuivanen uses a sweep to get the fight back onto the feet, Kuivanen then catches Salas with a right to the jaw. Salas and Kuivanen both start attacking each other with kick attempts, Salas then scores a takedown on Kuivanen as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Salas hitting Kuivanen with a looping right to the face, Salas then powers Kuivanen up against the cage wall. Both fighters then exchange knee strikes before separating, Kuivanen then barely connects with a superman punch on Salas. Salas then catches Kuivanen with a short right hook, Kuivanen then pops Salas in the body with a right. Salas then powers Kuivanen up against the cage wall before landing a foot sweep, Kuivanen quickly gets back up and he lands a body kick. Salas then catches Kuivanen with a short right as both moved towards each other, Salas then forces Kuivanen up against the cage wall as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Salas quickly hitting Kuivanen with a kick to the midsection, Salas then scores a takedown on Kuivanen and he gets the butterfly guard. Salas postures up to attempt strikes and Kuivanen nearly gets him with a heel hook, Salas escapes and resumes his ground and pound on Kuivanen. Kuivanen eventually finds a way to stand up and Salas tries to guillotine choke him, the fighters break apart and Kuivanen lands a right on Salas. Kuivanen then accidentally hits Salas with a kick to the balls and the fight is not stopped, Salas then powers Kuivanen up against the cage wall before landing an elbow strike. Kuivanen then starts stalking Salas before popping him with a left, Salas then scores a takedown on Kuivanen and he gets side control. Kuivanen then finds a way to get Salas into his half guard, Salas then postures up before catching a standing Kuivanen with a knee strike as the round ends.

Fight Result: Justin Salas def. Anton Kuivanen by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-27)

Post fight interview with Justin Salas, who says it was his dream to compete in the UFC and he has a lot of improving to do.

(Note: The middleweight fight between Buddy Roberts and Sean Loeffler has been pulled from the card after Loeffler injured his ankle while warming up for the fight.)

Fight #3 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Jonathan Brookins (13-4-0) vs. Vagner Rocha (7-2-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Rocha quickly popping Brookins with a short right, Brookins quickly responds by landing a right of his own. Rocha then starts attacking Brookins with some leg kicks, Brookins then catches a ducking Rocha with a right. Brookins then reverses a takedown attempt from Rocha to wind up on top of him, Brookins then starts attacking Rocha with ground and pound until the referee steps in.

Fight Result: Jonathan Brookins def. Vagner Rocha by KO via strikes (1:32, R1)

Post fight interview with Jonathan Brookins, who says that he truly respects Vagner Rocha and that he loves competing in Nebraska.
