When there are seven fights airing live on pay-per-view and four on FX, which does not leave much room for action for Facebook. With that being said, there is only one fight that will be airing live on Facebook, but it is a key battle in the featherweight division. In the end, it isn’t that bad to be the lone fight on Facebook, it’s better than not being seen at all…isn’t it?
The lone Facebook fight takes place in the featherweight division as Issei Tamura (6-2-0) takes on Tiequan “The Mongolian Wolf†Zhang (15-2-0). Issei Tamura will be making his UFC debut in this fight after spending his entire career in the Shooto promotion. Tiequan Zhang has split both of his fights in the UFC, defeating Jason Reinhardt and suffering a defeat to Darren Elkins. This will definitely be an exciting clash to kick off the UFC’s return to Japan, but it will be Tiequan Zhang earning the victory.
