A little less than one week after an exciting UFC 144 event, the UFC travels to the continent of Australia to present UFC On FX II. Also, much like the Facebook offering for UFC 144, there will be a lone Facebook broadcasted fight this Friday Night as well. The difference between the two is a mighty one though as the UFC 144 offering featured bantamweights and the UFC On FX II offering is featuring heavyweights.
The fight on Facebook takes place in the heavyweight division as Shawn “The Savage†Jordan (12-3-0) faces Oli Thompson (9-2-0). Shawn Jordan will be making his UFC debut in this fight after a successful run in Strikeforce, where he defeated Lavar Johnson. Oli Thompson will also be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he does so riding a five fight winning streak. This fight is a top notch way to kick off the event and it will be Shawn Jordan making a successful debut in the UFC.
