Fuel TV will be doing a lot of traveling in the coming weeks as they will be in Australia for the UFC On FX II Preliminary Fights and then to Sweden for UFC On Fuel TV II. There will be six fights on the preliminary card, with key fights in the light heavyweight and middleweight divisions. There will be a few Australian born fighters on the card, ranging from Kyle Noke all the way to Anthony Perosh.
Kicking off the card is a featherweight division contest as Daniel “The Pit†Pineda (16-7-0) squares off with Mackens “Mack Da Menace†Semerzier (6-3-0). Daniel Pineda is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Pat Schilling at UFC On FX I. Mackens Semerzier has had an interesting UFC run, defeating Alex Caceres and fighting Robert Peralta to a no contest. This fight will come down to how well late replacement Daniel Pineda is prepared and he will be prepared enough to get the victory.
Welterweight fighters will be featured next as Jake “Hitman†Hecht (11-2-0) does battle with TJ Waldburger (14-6-0). Jake Hecht is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Rich Attonito by TKO at UFC 140. TJ Waldburger has won two of three fights in the UFC, most notably defeating Mike Stumpf at UFC Ultimate Fight Night 25. This will be the coming out party for Jake Hecht, who will be pulling out the victory this coming Friday Night.
We move up to the middleweight division for the next fight as Andrew Craig (6-0-0) steps up to face Kyle “KO†Noke (19-5-0). Andrew Craig will be making his UFC debut in this fight after making an undefeated run through the Legacy Fighting Championships. Kyle Noke has won three of four in UFC competition, with his lone UFC loss coming to Ed Herman at UFC On Versus V. This fight looks like it will be a successful Australian return for countrymen Kyle Noke as he pulls out the victory.
The octagon will be full of featherweights for the next fight as Cole “Magrinho†Miller (18-5-0) battles Steven “Super†Siler (19-9-0). Cole Miller will be making his debut as a featherweight, despite winning seven of ten past fights in the UFC. Steven Siler is currently undefeated in UFC competition, defeating Cliff Copton at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale. This will be an excellent test for Cole Miller at featherweight and it will be a test that the fighter passes.
Up next is a light heavyweight division contest as Nick Penner (11-1-0) takes on Anthony “The Hippo†Perosh (12-6-0). Nick Penner will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he does so riding an eight fight winning streak. Anthony Perosh has been undefeated as a light heavyweight in the UFC, defeating Cyrille Diabate and Tom Blackledge. Anthony Perosh is returning to his homeland for this UFC encounter and it will be a successful return for him.
Headlining this portion of the card is a light heavyweight division contest as Aaron Rosa (17-4-0) faces James Te Huna (13-5-0). Aaron Rosa has split both of his fights in the UFC, defeating Matt Lucas and suffering a defeat to Joey Beltran. James Te Huna has won two of three fights in the UFC, most notably defeating Ricardo Romero at UFC 135. The winner of this fight will be moving up to bigger fights in the division and that fighter is going to be James Te Huna.
