History will be made this coming Friday Night when the first ever live edition of the UFC Ultimate Fighter comes to a close. However, before a champion can be crowned, there will be a four fight preliminary card occurring first on Fuel TV. While there are only four fights instead of the usual six on Fuel TV, many UFC Ultimate Fighter Live alumni will see action.
Kicking off the action is a featherweight division fight as Jeremy Larsen (8-2-0) competes against Joe Proctor (7-1-0). Jeremy Larsen enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak and once fought UFC Ultimate Fighter Champion Efrain Escudero. Joe Proctor enters the fight riding a three fight winning streak, with all three wins coming in the Reality Fighting promotion. These are two very evenly matched fighters kicking off the Fuel TV card, but it will be Joe Proctor getting the win in the end.
More featherweight action is up next as Cristiano Marcello (12-3-0) will be doing battle with Sam Sicilia (10-1-0). Cristiano Marcello enters the fight riding a three fight winning streak and he holds a victory over UFC veteran David Kaplan. Sam Sicilia has not had a professional MMA fight in nearly a year, but he has finished his last three opponents in under a minute each. This fight could be the show stealer of the preliminary card and it will be Sam Sicilia getting the victory here.
Up next is a featherweight division fight as Myles “The Fury†Jury (9-0-0) takes on Chris “The So Cal Kid†Saunders (9-2-0). Myles Jury is an undefeated fighter who is one of the only fighters to compete on two separate seasons of the UFC Ultimate Fighter. Chris Saunders has won seven of his last eight MMA fights, but it coming off of a loss to WEC veteran Chris Horodecki. This is a big fight for Myles Jury because he will not get a third opportunity, but he will not need one as he gets the duke in this one.
Headlining this portion of the card is a featherweight division contest as Daron Cruickshank (10-2-0) faces Chris “Bad Boy†Tickle (7-4-0). Daron Cruickshank enters the fight riding a four fight winning streak, most notably defeating Mike Ricci at Ringside MMA 12. Chris Tickle has won five of his last six fights, which includes a victory over UFC veteran Steve Berger. This is a good way to be ending the preliminary card, but it will be Daron Cruickshank getting the victory here.
